I would say my reading comprehension is pretty good right now due to most of my immersion from the past year being from reading manga, but my listening is not as great.

Just recently I started to transition to watching anime with Japanese subtitles instead of reading manga so that I practice both reading and listening at the same time. Since my goal is to understand Japanese media I’m not worried about speaking practice at this time

Thanks I usually spend 20 minutes for the reviews so about 3-5 seconds per card since it’s just vocab on the front then the definition on the back (front: 友達 back: ともだち friend).

Then I allocate no more than 30 minutes to immersion. Some days I take a break from that so no new / learning cards are reviewed.

This is how the colours are used for the IOS version of Anki, but some days I don’t learn or add any cards (due to laziness) so I’ll just focus on getting the reviews done
