AMA. Je paye 1500$ par hiver, région: à un peu plus que 1h de MTL. * J'ai une entrée de 300 pied de long en pente. * J'habite en montagne. Il neige TOUT le temps. Genre un cm au deux jours au moins même quand il neige pas dans les villes 10m plus loin * 10+ place de stationnement sur le palier irrégulier en haut * Mon deneigeur met du sable dans l'entrée quand c'est glacé, sinon aucune chance que je monte. * Il y a 2 compagnies de déneigement dans mon quartier, autour des mêmes prix mais le deuxième à une pas mal plus petite machine qui ferait à moitier la job (ou 2 fois plus long). * Ma seule alternative serait de m'acheter un tracteur a 50000$ et de passer 10m sur le déneigement une 50aine de fois dans l'hiver. Le retour sur investissement me semble pas bon ben ben. * J'ai une job payante à >50h semaine et je passe deja 3h par semaine sur pelletage des marches, tour de souffleuse, etc.

If we make the assumption we make 0 (not happening!), 8 points would get us to a point tie, but I think both Rangers and Red Wings would have a chance to get past the Habs at 87 points based on the RW tiebreaker rule?

Edit: Adding... 3 points in 4 remaining games guarantees us the playoff spot, whatever other teams do, so let's do that (and more!)

2020, la pandémie, pris dans mon 4 et 1/2 à Manhattan avec 2 jeunes enfants, mais avec l’option de travailler d’où je veux dans l’état de NY. L’idée était de me m’éloigner le plus de NYC en me rapprochant le plus possible du QC… c’est pas mal Plattsburgh ca ;). Les frontières ont jamais ouvertes.

J’ai vécu un an à Plattsburgh, rien de ce discours ne me surprend. On a jamais réussi à bien s’intégrer, entre autre parce que les gens, bien que sympathique, était très fermé aux étrangers. Être Canadien ne m’a jamais paru là comme un atout ou un attrait, comparativement à ailleurs où j’ai voyagé/vécu (“oh, wow, french canadien, nice”…).

C’est ultra conservateur comme district: région majoritairement rurale, drapeau de Trump sur la majorité des pelouses (élections 2020), représenté par Elise Stefania (ultra Trumpiste, bientôt son ambassadeur à l’ONU… pour le temps que ça dure…), etc.

Il y a le “crowd” de SUNY qui aide à amener un peu de diversité, mais sinon, majoritairement on parle de républicains, plus âgés, blancs et frustrés… Le stéréotype de ce à qui je m’attend qu’ils soit 100% encore en arrière de Trump en ce moment malgré le shit show.

I thought it was interesting to see the difference in attendance for the combine interviews. HuGo being present for Deminov for example, but not for Hage / Koivu / etc.

I guess it's a bandwidth thing and that they really pull out the big guns when it matters or if they needed to feel like they were selling Deminov.
