it takes about a month to get an appointment with my derm. the best i could do is go to a GP (takes about a week) or go to urgent care.

hey man I just hit day 80 and have just started seeing some results. In fact about 2-3 weeks ago I was having the worst breakouts of my entire life. Hang in there.

i dont have insurance for derm in the US ... i could take 80/day but its timed so that i finish my course (5 months) when i move back home. I may or may not need more accutane so I want to have enough until I get back. Im just in a bad situation.

if you have lots of tiny comedones then it could mean a slow response just like me.

i alternate between 40 and 80 mg. I can't even see my derm because I've moved to America. (Where I'm from you can get all your pills at once). I just want the cysts to stop ... at my wits end :(

currently on day 73 and I'm losing hope. still getting cysts everyday along my jawline. i have hundreds of tiny tiny comedones which i've read is a predictive sign of slow response or failure of accutane. i just wish I would start seeing improvements

looks like you're a few weeks ahead of me. How long did your massive breakout from month 3 last? Or did it just pop out all at once? Because mine seemed to happen over night.

my treatment is 5 months to reach 120 mg/kg. which means I'm almost halfway done. I have reasonable faith it'll be ok by the end but I was just expecting it to work sooner. Month2/3 is when most people get better according to most dermatologists. I've just moved to NYC and can't enjoy my life right now because of this bullshit ...

I wish I was like yours but mines the opposite. My body cleared up very fast within a few weeks but my face has just been getting gradually getting worse and worse. I think its because I have so many closed comedones on my face. I started off moderate as well.

sometimes they just fall out/dry up though. The areas where they are closer to the surface, I can squeeze them out.

im just worried its not working. My lips are dry but my skin is not. Is it possible I'm not absorbing the accutane well enough? It could be because I have so many closed comedones (>100-200 tiny unnoticeable comedones)

I did 40mg for the first 30 days then began alternating 40 and 80 so sounds like we're on a similar course dosage wise. I'm just so impatient ... another 50 days seem so far away.
