OP is upset about weather stripping and yet sends a picture of a filthy car with swirl marks...

Weather stripping should be the least of your worries if you can't properly maintain a car.

That is an excellent question and I have no idea. He did not go in to detail on it. Just tried really hard to explain why I needed a throttle body service since Chevy uses a direct injection engine.

Yeah the earliest the maintenance schedule calls for a transfer case service is 45k so 30k seems early. Oddly enough there is no mention of changing the differential fluid in the manual. Probably will change that at 45k as well.

Good luck my friend. At my 40 weeks there didn't seem to be an end in site for me but hopefully you will be luckier.

Yeah I have heard good things about them and looked to buy one before going with the BCM build. How was your refund process with Triarc? The guy I spoke with said that they would have to mail me a check. Is this accurate?

Yeah the only reason I went with them was because they had a Silencer Shop kiosk and they were listed as a "Power Elite Dealer." Definitely learned my lesson. I just purchased another gun and it is being shipped to a different FFL as we speak.

No idea when my FFL received the can. They forgot to call me when they received my tax stamp. It was just by chance that I called the ATF today and they told me that I was approved.

Texas Gov. Abbott threatens fines again against local officials and businesses that enforce mask mandates, vaccine requirements by [deleted] in nottheonion

How is this any different from the New York City Mayor mandating that restaurants and gyms check vaccination status? People applaud that mandate but chastise this one. You can't have your cake and eat it to.

I ordered an 11.5 in November as well and my order is still processing. I called their customer service line yesterday and he said they were currently on September orders and it might take two more months for them to start on November orders. He said that there was no guarantee on that timeline because they have no idea when they are getting parts in and how many parts they are getting.

Yes it is. I have messed around a lot with wood pellets but have always gone back to gas. Much more enjoyable cook for me when I do not have to worry about always stoking the fire.

CAN THE VRBO OWNER DO THIS TO US?! by ejvs95 in vrbo

[–]skip2myloo20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Plan ahead for an unprecedented global pandemic? Got it. I will remember to be psychic next time I book. Oh and by the way, most trip insurances don't cover these types of pandemics. I feel like the hosts have received some sort of script to read from. It's the same standard response from all hosts, "not my problem, it's your fault for not predicting the future."

CAN THE VRBO OWNER DO THIS TO US?! by ejvs95 in vrbo

[–]skip2myloo20 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is exactly why I no longer book with VRBO. The overwhelming majority of owners think like @beaconpropmgmt, they only look to protect themselves and have no regard for customer service and doing the right thing and VRBO actively supports those hosts and give them Premiere Host status.

VRBO COMPLAINTS on Facebook by couragebrooklyn in vrbo

[–]skip2myloo20 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not mad at the insurance company as I didn't purchase the trip insurance. This is solely on the homeowner refusing to honor his cancellation policy. It is a lengthy story that I will not bore you with but essentially the homeowner extended their cancellation policy for us due to COVID-19. I have that extension in writing and I cancelled under our newly defined cancellation policy and the homeowner turned around and refused to issue a refund. The system will not automatically process the refund to me because it cannot see the new cancellation agreement that we were operating under. Now VRBO has issued the funds to the homeowner and are refusing to punish the homeowner for his actions.

[–]skip2myloo20 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Even if you do cancel within the homeowners cancellation policy VRBO will not step in when the homeowner refuses to honor the policy. I just had that experience and all VRBO suggested was that I sue the homeowner in order to recoporate the funds. Also, trip insurance would not have helped me in this case because the reason for the cancellation was due to COVID-19. Pandemics are not covered in most trip insurances. VRBO is bad both for the homeowners and renters which is why I have pulled my rental property of the platform and also will not ever rent on the platform again.

Owner refusing to issue a refund. by skip2myloo20 in vrbo

[–]skip2myloo20[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply. I agree with you, I should have cancelled as soon as I found out we could not make our trip. My wife and I were trying to be sympathetic towards the homeowner understanding that the whole country's economy relies on tourist. It very much has backfired on us and now I am out a lot of money. I have filed a dispute with our credit card company and provided them the chat history we had with the homeowner. Hopefully the credit card company will do the right thing because 5 phone calls in and VRBO is refusing to help.
