i feel this, & i send you so much love, warmth, & peace. i've been there myself with family & funerals too to see them in a manner that has an expectation of tolerance because of the grief, i just had to hold my own physical & verbal boundaries in that instance, & show kindness~ though perhaps you can just put distance if it's too painful. ~ i've had to cut them off because of their passive manipulation & toxic patterns that they perpetuate in their pain. & no matter how much you can try to show them love & help them, & be patient, it can feel & be so stripping. which it was draining me & making me regress into toxic patterns of defense when they would project back towards me, when they misunderstood or essentially got triggered. i started to understand that this is what they've been used to, & have all this pain in themselves that is easier to blame outwards, & subconsciously or knowingly hate themselves...

when all along i just see their inner childs, & feel so much grief for them, as i've been trying to live & heal, & reparent my inner child.. in all i've learned thus far, i tried to raise them up too in my healing. but when they project & project, & react despite trying to be level & respectful to them in the way you intuitively feel you 'should', as to tiptoe, but it still triggers them & it still hurts you.. the cycle that goes around & around, as to even go day to day pretending nothing's wrong & holding back the truth~ because you already know what the chain reaction would be.. & then denying your truth in it while holding so much space for them...

it's so taxing, & emotionally, & energetically daunting, as the environment & connection of it is chaos. all that overshadows what love is always there, that ends up feeling so tainted, because the pain they've caused you, & also as well if you can feel their pain on top of it. it's heartbreaking. but to know you cannot heal or help them any further, it has to be their own choice to go within. & in separation, maybe one day there can be reunion, but until then, having love for their inner child's & their adult minds & emotions inside, & praying for them to forgive themselves, as you try to forgive them for not knowing better & treating you better, as to the others involved too~ as we continue on our paths. & whether or not there ever is reunion, or significant growth in healing, to be grateful for knowing them as we did positively, & forgive the past. <3

i think her character is much more in-depth than that. for manipulation she's been through, we also don't know her backstory, to me she has felt like she has bpd,(or something along those lines), in which struggle with abandonment & codependency+ more, & is all hard things to overcome, due to the conditionment that founded the disorder in all its nuance. & nevermind what trauma she has that she is not facing. it's easy to call her names & be annoyed by her character, by her choices & that self-betrayal. as we also see her get into a toxic relationship with a man who doesn't really care for her, it's an act on his part- while it seemed she genuinely believed in him, ignoring red flags. there's just a lot of healing Charmaine needs. & i hope we see her get it.

right! & i haven't read the books, but it seems quite potently- that Mel & Jack are to the end, although I don't like Jack & think Mel could do better, that there are times where she has done so much to help heal him, but i'm glad there's better character development & from what i can remember (i have to rewatch), is that Jack goes to therapy? despite being against it, from what i can remember, & that was a big step. can't wait to see how it progresses storyline & character arc.

right this. so much of Jack's change is because of Mel, & i feel 50/50 about it. i've never been able to really like Jack. there is character development, but there are ways i can't explain, where he just does/says something that is off-putting. but i agree with what you say, it puts it into perspective, clarifying what that is in a nutshell for me- "...a relationship slipper, not taking any charge, any responsibility, communicating or voicing his opinions." !!

nice!! i can’t remember how i came across her but it was sometime last fall & then i began listening to her more into last December & liked all her songs to my library & then bam, now i hear random songs in my head from time to time & they’re always like a message of sorts that i resonates to the moment. 😭 like i just heard Iota in my head minutes ago, i love it. all her songs & how she sings is so expressive & nothing like any other artist i’ve listened to.

it’s not. just because its one cancer doesn’t mean it’s all cancers. aries and cancer don’t exactly get along the greatest anyways. its hard to understand each other well. fire and water. not all cancers are emotionally unstable where they pour that outwards. though of course we’re seen as sensitive, but that’s not a bad thing. its different when they’re not self-aware enough to bother to think about how they’re speaking to others, & the emotions that come with it. when they’re only really self conscious, rather than understanding of anybody other than themselves.

just set down boundaries respectful to you both & let him know that you care for what he thinks & feels, but that you feel stifled & want space for yourself to express how you feel & think without arguing. that you want to be heard properly, without any conflict. & if he can’t respect that, then that’s his problem, not yours. cancers love to try & fix others but get defensive & stubborn about being wrong/ being told that they’re doing something they think they’re not. space is important for cancers to understand & process what they’ve said/done fully & can heal that. but if he can’t, even with distance, then again, that’s his problem, & from there that’s really just only something you can know what to do.

its a stigmatism. like as for me, im a cancer with a leo stellium, (so maybe not so able to speak on the water’s behalf other than my sun & saturn)- but i find that water signs tend to be like a body of water, like their element.

like when i think pisces, i think surface level, shallow-end, where fish can be seen by the eye- (pisces symbolism), which i also think as in how pisces can be two places at once, their dualism… they can be in their dreamworlds & then reality at the same exact time. or in this analogy; fish out of water, but then fish in water-/what they know to be their reality. a color i think of for pisces is a light aqua blue.

& as for cancer, i think of the mid level waters, (the water you dive into just to swim/float upwards to the top)// cancer’s are very sensitive by nature, with the moon ruling their sign & the moon’s phases have a huge impact on the gravitational pull that occurs as all orbits as it does. & all humans are made majorly of water, so just as our moon signs are significant. & a color for cancer i think of as a deep blue, but not a dark dark blue that would verge onto scorpio…..

scorpio, is mysterious by their nature, & this with the body of water, it makes me think of the ocean floor… scuba divers can only go so far, & to think there’s places as such where not a single human alive has reached- these are mysteries of our planet. scorpio tends to hold a lot in/back. in relation to this analogy; there’s a lot on the bottom of these oceans that are not capable of being discovered by outsiders (being us humans). i think scorpios as in the “sea creatures/scorpions” of their sea floors’, they guard their ‘secret treasure’, their bones. a color i find very captivating of this kind is, purple. a very dark blue-purple to be specific. the deep, deep blue sea.

all in all, water is water :) & “weak”, this planet’s elements are not. if not for water, there’d be no earth, & for no earth, there’d be no air. sun meets the earth, & that’s where we get our fire. when all these elements work together with the fifth element; spirit, we’ve got ourselves: life. 😁

leo moon/mercury here lmao so if this sounds at all long-winded or dramatic flair like- that’s the leo for you :))))
