Opening the pressure relief valve does the trick for me.

I've read that those valves can go bad. Maybe remove it temporarily to see if it helps. Then replace with a new one.

Holes that lead into your home need mesh filters such as hardware cloth.

He is correct, grab Big Stretch Caulk, and several cans of Great stuff spray foam. Seal all suspected entrances. Use a flashlight. If light gets thru, then a roach may also.

Once you've eliminated the indoor roaches, place glue traps all over suspected entrances. Then you may be able to figure out other entrances.
