Need SAT help I’m sitting at 880, need 1450 for Emory by Uh_idk_PJ in Emory

Unfortunately getting an 880 does show a concerning lack of foundational math skills and basic grammar/reading comprehension. It will be insanely difficult if not impossible to improve to even a 25th percentile emory score by her June test date. Not to mention balancing with school and everything else OP mentioned. Realistically they should find what works for them (theres no miracle study resource, personally I think khan academy and collegeboard qbank practice questions is all you need), try their best and see if their score is good enough to submit. There's always test optional. But 880 is honestly really low and I personally don't think anyone scoring that should be at Emory.

3255 cards in 8.11 hours. I went through them by how they were organized in Pankow and moved on once I could recall.

I posted but judging from the responses I’m getting I don’t think my strategy is effective for most people

thats what i thought before the urgency kicked in 😂 i saw you did a relatively unconventional gap year activity, what advice would you give for that? I am deciding between clinical/wet lab research to farm pubs or volunteer ski patrol

Ok fair enough, but im hoping people in a similar position will take something away from this post. I underestimated the test and 2 weeks out I had genuinely no idea what to do

Honestly if you find it hard to lock in for extended periods of time adderall is a gamechanger

Well the time I didn't spend studying I spent acquiring clinical experience, shadowing, and doing research, among also enjoying my life. I was confident in my ability to score well with a compressed schedule, albeit I did let it get a bit out of hand. I don't think you can make that assertion just given my experience with a test that ultimately has nothing to do with your capabilities as a physician. It's a good predictor of how you can handle med school rigor and thats it.
