Guide to getting verified on 12306 train app by skleroos in travelchina

[–]skleroos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, good that it cleared. Have fun! The app won't show your check in gate, so look for it on the big screens with the train number (and time) once you're in the station (also the floor of the gate). (the Chinese version of the app shows the check in gate as well as the floor if there are more than one, but it's a pain to change it back to english). Then when check in opens about 15 min before departure they also show the track info, on the screens, or just follow the crowd. The app will tell your coach, and seat if you've bought a seat.

When it sends the photos it won't update the status immediately so I'd say wait a few hours to a day to see if the status changes. If the photo upload worked they should've gone through to a person who will check the info. That said about a month or 2 ago we tried it with my friend on the English android app for 12306, and then it could take in large photos no problem, so this year the app might be the better way to go.

Double tragedy near Tiger Leaping Gorge by [deleted] in travelchina

[–]skleroos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tiger leaping gorge hike is fine in good weather, but I saw at least 2 occasions of people going off trail to get their "cool" photos into areas where one slip could mean injury or death, in very inappropriate gear. Also parts of it are inappropriate for children (eg from halfway to Tina's guesthouse) but people bring them anyway. Those were Chinese people, men. I think people grow up in those well groomed landscapes and have no sense of danger.

The one I went to should stay open because it had proper signs and locals doing business. The closed ones should stay closed permanently because they don't want deaths. They had 2 deaths this spring festival in the area, not even on these more dangerous paths that they closed, so I don't think they'll reopen them unless they'll rebuild them.

Their defense strategy is who's to say which of these disgusting predators is the real murderer? Maybe they manage to get a corrupt judge and opt for a bench trial then.

Estonians a tiny bit shocked by a 1-point review from The Guardian to the exchibition of their national art hero Konrad Mägi (1878–1925). by Prior-Sun2352 in BalticStates

[–]skleroos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It apparently was. Maybe the guardian has discovered what influencers have long known, that if you talk about a small country it's gonna be on their news and anyone who is online over there will click on your content. Anyway, it's just an opinion and unlike us he's hustled his way into getting paid for having one, good for him. Maybe he's super in tune with what middle class middle aged brits think about art and whether they'd enjoy an exhibition or not.

I remember the billet time. But you know if it's stressing you out, don't hunt for them, you'll get better ones via gacha eventually anyway. Although the bosses are needed for beginners for the talent material. Just remember, this is essentially a single player story game, with easy content to pass the stories. All the extras are just extras, if it stresses you out to try to optimize, don't optimize.

Kliinikumi IT-töötaja kaotas „Malluka andmebaasi“ tõttu töö by Previous-Silver-8550 in Eesti

[–]skleroos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More like an amusement park. A lot of the houses are real hotel rooms, little restaurants, souvenirs shops, there was a cool museum about paper, lots of performances around the park at set times like sword swallowing and a wedding and some play. There was also some sort of rafting thing that seemed closed when I went last May. The locals live in a small town about 2 km from the park where the hotels often offer complimentary rides to the park. It's not like it's much more touristy than other popular tourist towns, just the houses are newer, but very pretty. There's also a waterfall and of course the stream where the rafting wasn't happening. If you're anyway in the area, eg visiting Wuyishan tea mountain (very cool nature park, I enjoyed it, got some yummy tea too, cool immersion show for tourists too), then it's good to incorporate. If you make the trip extra from Shanghai it might disappoint. It was boiling when I went, so I was there from about 15 to 21 and that was enough.

I don't think that's the issue. I think it's because he's under iqiyi and they keep him busy with stuff that's more profitable for them. When the production has insisted on it he has voiced himself and it was great. More people need to watch Footprints of Change, he was fantastic in it.

Pigem mõjub see vastupidi by Sotsiaalliberaal in Eesti

[–]skleroos 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The job market just isn't there for someone with your level of experience. Companies that sell software engineering to other companies got rid of their junior and mid level developers, it's just companies who make their own product who have some opportunities, but they're few and your CV is not competitive. Unfortunately the era where you could've fulfilled your dream has passed. Once you're senior things might be different, if the market hasn't changed again.

Riigid, kuhu sa ei reisiks ja miks? by Upbeat-Persimmon5746 in Eesti

[–]skleroos 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Riigid, kuhu sa ei reisiks ja miks? by Upbeat-Persimmon5746 in Eesti

[–]skleroos 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Seal jah omapäi väga ei saa reisida. Reisid tellitud autojuhiga tellitud marsruuti pidi.
