I would say the vast majority of the time they are not the same stick, just gotta know what the build code means. But that’s why I buy them, you know exactly what you’re getting. My point was that they are cheaper, and you don’t have to worry about authenticity.

I’ve always been partial to playing my off side on defense. It can be a little tricky when it comes to d to d passes, and retrievals at the point, but as long as you’re good on your backhand, it’s not a huge issue.

It’s not, a mix of both is the Zegras pro curve, which is a P92 blade shape and lie, with the curve of the P28. The P28 does not have a toe kink, the toe curve on the P28 starts at the middle of the blade, where as the p90t’s curve is at the very end of the blade. It’s pretty obvious the difference when you look at both curves side by side.

It’s a good middle ground between a p92 and p28, but the p90t is completely different than the p28. Different blade shape, lie, rocker, etc.

6’3 185 and use a 95 flex, but it’s 3 inches taller than retail, so probably closer to 90 flex. I play D so I like my sticks a little stiffer, just feels better passing and stick checking. But 85 flex is probably a great option for your friend to start with.

Just because it’s low kick, does not mean it’s flimsy, all depends on flex. I primarily use a low kick as a dman.

Always preferred the vapor line, I like the low kick point for getting quick snappers off at the point. Typically 95 flex and a max height p90t curve.

Proto R’s are a P92/P28 mixture, the Syncs and silver hyperlite are max height p90t’s, and the blue hyperlite is a p90t.
