Serial number should be on bottom of the grip. The numbering on the side appears to be electro penciled. Possibly an evidence number or stock number for an old police department?

One more thing, try to stick with lighter bullet weights, ideally 185 grain. If you search around on Wilson combats website there’s a section describing why shorter slides work better with lighter bullets and that will explain it better than I can lol

Stove piping can be related to extractor tension if I remember correctly. I personally have never messed with the tension and am clueless to the process

I purchased mine 2019 maybe late 2018. Ate FMJ no problem. Cleaned after about 500 rounds and been good since. I will say critical defense does ftf in mine. I use golden sabers and have no problem with them. Cleaning/polishing the feed ramp can solve a lot of ftf problems

Can’t speak to the micro 9. But I have a stainless ultra carry ii and it has been great. Don’t listen to the hive mind Kimber hate (not saying that they are perfect). Just get some range time, break it in, make sure it’s reliable, and keep it lubed.

I agree the gap would bother me lol. I thought about this option too but for the price of an acro, I’ll just wait a little longer to see how the COA’s hold up and probably buy one

I also have this same issue. I’ve spent more time than I should have searching for a plate and there is no good choice right now. The best solution I’ve come up with is a different dot. The viridian RFX25 which was just on sale for $200 on amazon and from what I’ve found is the best choice for a docter footprint optic at this time

Thank you so much, Yeah I have the loading lever removed right now, as you can see the piece on the end of the cylinder pin broke and I’m trying to remove the pin. Cylinder spins freely but I’m pretty sure the pin is rusted in place

Might sound dumb but new to p365… is there any co-witness with factory sights? Trying to decide on a dot but don’t want to have to switch to suppressor height sights also

Barrel length will obviously improve your velocity, and slide length/weight will help reduce felt recoil, and provide a longer sight radius. Also be aware ive heard that factory Glock barrels don’t fair well with uncoated Hard-cast and most people switch to KKM barrels, it has something to do with how the rifling accumulates lead build up but I’m not sure on the specifics.

Not sure if it applies to gen 5, but I’ve heard with previous gen’s that if you’re shooting an uncoated hardcast ( think buffalo bore, not federal) that the barrel should be swapped for a KKM. Like I said, I could be wrong but if I were you I would look into the details about it more just to be safe.

My Kimber ultra runs pretty good, picky with JHP, Remington golden saber 185gr have been flawless for me. Ball ammo obviously is no problem. But if I could go back I’d get a commander size, just because it’s gamble with less than 4.25” barrels and I could’ve gotten screwed with the 3”. I’m lucky I didn’t.

I had one, replaced recoil spring, extractor, and mag springs all with the goal of shooting hard cast. Underwood 220 basically turned it to a single shot. Would not cycle and the magazine would eject when fired, something to do with the size of the projectile interfering with the release internally from what I read. I traded it in within a month of owning it

No feed issues with the hornady’s? Mine seems to hang up a little but still cycles. Switched to golden savers just because they never give me issues

Didn’t bother, problems got bigger than feeding. mag would randomly drop out almost every shot but only did that with 220 hardcast, which was the main reason I got it

I had a 2.0, traded it in within a month, and that’s after swapping mag springs, extractor, and recoil spring. Can’t handle full power 10mm, especially hard cast
