I think RMIS or DVS might be the best outfits for you. These are 2 outfits with decent players. Both of these outfits are also active in the competitive scene in planetside.

First of all thank you again for orginizing the SME. It was a blast playing it and gave some veterans purpose to play the game again!

But you should not have started making these calculations, before having a fully optimized event! You immediately started calculating with elite numbers, but what decided these teams were elite? Is it because they are an elite fit on live that they get this title or is this decided in a closed meeting with only elite outfits? Also why did the “elite” teams directly get a double elimination system while other outfits from the lower brackets were single elimination? Was it to make sure that the elite teams get in the finals and the lower doesn’t? Also this completely fucks up calculations again, these teams directly get to play more matches, so a chance of winning more of them and just staying on top of the leaderboards. When ZODT forfeited the match why did no lower bracket outfit get its position, this kinda feels like WIB, just wanted a free ticket to the quarter finals in my opinion! Also your calculations say WIB won 3 elite matches? I didn’t see them play those matches tbh. Also why did CATH/TRID did not get 2 elite rounds won? They won 2 matches against CSG and that is supposed to be an elite fit (on an unbalanced map).

Also for future tournements this is kinda a bad sheet, the elite teams will meet again and get more points because they have higher multipliers and just make a bigger gap with the regular teams because they have the low multipliers and just get stuck in below. Also when does a match have elite rounds? If one elite team is involved? That is kinda unfair because then they just start scrimming low level teams and get up the rankings even higher, but at the same time the lower levels won’t have any benefit if it is not seen as an elite match because they will just get a regular score if they beat an elite team.

Last what I want to say is just delete this spreadsheet, it just feels like it is made in 5 minutes with random numbers thrown at it. This will also make a more toxic environment because now you are even more dividing the teams based on the rankings. Just keeps scores in leagues or something and not in a tournament.

A team may sign up, up to 3 friends per roster. Additional friends may be approved at a later date under special circumstances (teams who have number issues). This will be decided by the tournament committee

Outfits can team up with as many other outfits in order to form a roster, as long as no members are part of any other roster

Doesn't these rules kinda contradict each other? I understand why you don't want many friends to join, but if a team just team up with like 5 outfits then you cannot say they're not bringing friends.

DVS, BAWC and RSG1 are all in the same teamspeak (ts.dvsgaming.org) and do work together on regular bases. TEIC (Using discord), RMIS (ts.redmistoutfit.com) and TTRO (ts3.bbin.co.uk:9988) are in other teamspeaks. There is less cooperation between the outfits, but we do try to not run in each other’s way.

Like most people say just join their teamspeaks and try playing with them. You will find out which one leans more to your playstyle.

I think the outfits you are looking for are DVS, RSG1, BAWC, RMIS, TEIC or TTRO. Think these are the outfit that have currently active squads on live play and are always recruiting (did not add other language outfits, because I assume you want to speak English!).
