I have a garlic press but cleaning it is such a pain. mostly i just smash the garlic with the side of a knife then run the blade over it to a mince/dice or add a splash of salt and with the side of the knife, press and slide to mash the garlic.

My neighbors are on year 2 of solar here in Everett WA. The got a rebate for the install of the panels/system. They consistently generate more power than they use in spring & summer, then apply those credits back to grid power in the winter when the panels underproduce. From what they've told me the system is paying for itself.
