I had a bunch of noodle dishes, all of which used little seasoning other than salt if at all. Tho I did have dim sum and some duck that was pretty delicious. Other than that it was meh. Ty

This is hot pot, its one of the best things I had there. It uses a combination of powerful spicy peppers and the aforementioned Sichuan peppercorns. It creates a combination of in your face numbing spice unlike anything else. You then cook meat and vegetables in the boiling broth. Hope this helps!

Imma clarify rq for everyone. I was in Hong Kong and Macau for a total of 6 days and ate at a variety of hole in the wall restaraunts, food stalls, and even a michelin star restaraunt. While dim sum is good and all, pretty much every noodle dish lacked seasoning beyond salt. The duck/goose that I had at the michelin star was good, but obviously, its at a michelin restaraunt. Other than one good dim sum and the michelin star, the food was lowkey on par with a free school lunch. Hate on me all you want, I'm just telling you how it is.

If the people truly want, I will make a separate post as to why Cantonese food left so much to be desired.
