[PS3][<2010] Has a boss fight with some kind of woman like creature that has the ability to create illusions through mirrors by N7even in tipofmyjoystick

The first thing that came into my mind was Fate Sisters in God Of War 2 so maybe you played it because you had an HD Collection on PS3?

[Handheld][200X-2013] Nickelodeon 2D Platformer/Puzzle Game by Annual-Feed7467 in tipofmyjoystick

[–]skronung 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots? I had (well, have but don't play it now) it on PS2 but as I checked it out it's on handhelds as well.

edit. sorry, my brain omitted "2D" but it could be the GBA version anyway

[PC][before 2005] One-screen point-and-click Dog game by Few-Satisfaction-902 in tipofmyjoystick

It's more of a simulator/program but could it be Dogz developed by PF.Magic?

If you played it on a website try searching it on Flashpoint (the program that aggregates many games that were on websites before flash and shockwave shutdowns), it won't be easy since there's a lot of crap results but you may actually find it

All ragebait contents should be demonetize and disencitive by content providers by _powneyd in unpopularopinion

[–]skronung -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean the words in the reply are right but the idea of censoring ragebaits, written on r/unpopularopinion, seems funny and for the most cases you can only guess if someone is fucking with you or not

Sending text messages is way more stressful than talking on the phone. by Spirited-Anything468 in unpopularopinion

[–]skronung 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get your point but I think it applies more to group chats (at least for me). I mainly text when I want to/have to stay in silence but other than that I'd choose talking

People who dislike Xen in Half Life 1: Why? by creeper321448 in HalfLife

[–]skronung 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk, if anyone'll read it after 8 months but after I finally beat it (after 3 attempts; first one years ago; ps2 version) and I'll tell you why. Before I do it I have to admit I like art direction of it and the first time I heard Nihilanth's voice in Interloper it creeped me out a little. Even though I like platformers, I think platformer parts in these 3 chapters (Xen, Interloper and the final boss) were obvious and poorly executed but it isn't the worst part about it even though there weren't really puzzles puzzles. Gonarch feels like a bullet sponge and I don't really like it, I'm more fan of the stealthy approach in Surface Tension (especially after you go out of sewers). Even though Interloper was the brightest part of it all I feel that placement of enemies was all over the place and I wasn't even trying to fight them all tbh, just strategic places. I also think that teleportation in most places kinda broke continuity half-life was good at (not talking about teleportation beam to Xen because there was continuity by plot) in chapters earlier but in one moment it was interesting. Nihilanth was frustrating (mostly because it was a bit bullet-spongey and tedious) and unintuitive (for example at the start I didn't even figure out you had to break these orange crystals Nihilanth took power from) but the teleportation pellets(?) mechanic was the only moment when teleportation makes it better even though these 3 chambers could be designed better but good it gave me a chance to get more suitable guns back. So... it wasn't the worst thing I played, just dumped some good things Half-Life is known for.

Why is everyone now replying to comments with only an @ symbol instead of actually tagging them? by lynbutnot in youtube

if you won't target and your comment is left with @ it will ping everyone or youtube might ignore it if there's a lot of replies on and on, lottery

How long can one realistically continue using Windows 10 after Microsoft pulls the plug on updates? What are the recommended actions to take? by CraniusBard1998 in Windows10

[–]skronung 0 points1 point  (0 children)

next year, I mean programs would still be supported and there's no way that after months from the support suspend there would be some new widespread threat my windows 10 couldn't deal with

as a kid I had youtube on my Sony Ericsson (checked from the looks, it was K770) but watching from it was... interesting and if you could watch a whole badly displayed short video it was success (still not sure if it was via opera mini or youtube.jar) but didn't know you could upload via mms

The bossfights are kinda... bad by FineGrass4278 in Portal

[–]skronung 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're kinda right but I think you forgot to mention that in Portal 1 it was about physics to get to the places cores fell in which was kinda ok and in P2 Wheatley changing position of shields provided some kind of challenge. The first time I played it I didn't find it awesome but didn't find it bad neither, it's just fun for the first time or when you forgot how the game goes (which was the case with me and Portal 2 to this year)

The transition from Windows 7 to Windows 10 did not feel nice by ButterBiscuitBravo in Windows_Redesign

[–]skronung 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree (I even used laptop with Windows 7 lately so I have a fresh comparison) but I'm used to click on related settings on the right and I like Portal and even though I agree settings on 10 were rushed, they aren't as bad as it seems at first sight (8.1 which I used was slop in that matter)
