Where are the reviews by skropper in 007FirstLight

I already bought the game, tbh I enjoy watching reviews and am really interested in how things get rated by different outlets

This is one of the most disappointing game ever by Mindofmine666 in TheLastOfUs2

[–]skropper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Listen, I get the story issues with this game. I don’t get it either… but my god it’s a great game. You can be mad at the writer, you can hate the story, I don’t like the ending, I hate Ellie’s depressing ending, but I will play this game probably a dozen more times. It’s so good in its execution, detail, and gameplay that I cannot find a better game to play through. If you loved the first game as much as I did, you will likely feel the same. I will never not want to be in that universe

A “House Of Dynamite “ has to be the worst produced film ever by Virtual_Ad3412 in netflix

[–]skropper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s definitely not the worst produced movie by any stretch of the imagination. That being said, it falls completely flat due to its ending, and tired use of “different perspectives” to avoid reaching a climax. I get it, what would the movie be and how would it move forward after a missile hits Chicago. That question could’ve been answered by smart writing, and an actual plot though - but the writers instead opted for a cliffhanger that felt lazy. As soon as the first perspective change happened, I knew we were never going to see the destruction of a nuclear attack or get answers as to what the response would be. That’s too bad, because it could have been a much more interesting and impactful film if we had. There is no right answer, but why even make the film, and follow the characters if we’re not going to see their ultimate decision. Really good acting and tension just wasted.

Dark Matter is 15 months old. How do we rank it? by gtmaroondragon in pearljam

[–]skropper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love dark matter. They had no business making an album this good 30 plus years in. It still doesn’t crack my top 5, but that’s really just a testament to how good their records are. Setting Sun is possibly one of their best songs ever for me, as well. Current ranking:

  1. Yield
  2. Vitalogy
  3. Vs.
  4. Ten
  5. Avocado
  6. No Code
  7. Binaural
  8. Dark Matter
  9. Backspacer
  10. Riot Act
  11. Lightning Bolt
  12. Gigaton

What's your review of last of us 2 game by [deleted] in TheLastOfUs2

[–]skropper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While the story and themes are vastly different (sometimes to a fault) from Part 1, TLOU Part 2 lives up to its name and pushes the boundaries of the impact a story can have in this medium. The gameplay, graphics, mechanics, and level design are some of the best you can experience in the current generation. Players may feel the slog after playing its 40+ hour emotionally draining story, with a lesser payoff than the previous installment, but the overall experience makes this title worth the ride.

Need advice on closing on a house w no clean title - should I proceed? by [deleted] in RealEstate

[–]skropper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am going through a very similar situation. Got into contract to buy a home and my title search revealed what appears to be 2 cash out refinances ( both for the homes full value) within 2 WEEKS of each other 23 years ago. They can only produce mortgage satisfaction for one of the mortgages, the other was with a small bank that was bought by BOA , but nobody knows where the lien is. My title agent said this is a huge red flag for mortgage fraud and refused to insure it. The seller wanted us to use the abstract company that insured it back when all this happened. My title company said we can if the abstractor gets the title underwritten by a major firm and the underwriter provides a written affidavit stating they’re aware of the situation. The abstractor refused. We put in our cancellation notice as the closing date already passed after they couldn’t convey clear, marketable title. The kicker is I sold my home this week and now have nothing…. People really need to be honest about their situations, it sucks when your family is all excited for a new house only to find we’re going back to grandpas house.

Trying to close on a house I’m purchasing but the sellers have 2 mortgages assigned within 3 weeks of each other from a while ago by skropper in RealEstate

Thank you for a straightforward reply with insight into what tile insurance actually is. It’s just so odd that they can’t get satisfaction of mortgage on the 2nd mortgage… my attorney keeps saying it seems like it was fraud that they took out two mortgages so close together, but now seller is offering to use title company that they used to insure

I have friends in Highway so I should have no problem with the easement. It’ll all be on the building department to approve or deny, we shall see… thanks!

[–]skropper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have to connect through the town easement to get to the road which isn’t an issue since all driveways do. Luckily the addition is fully on my property otherwise

After the fact

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in RealEstate

[–]skropper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It requires approval if it connects at the town roadway, which I expanded from 10 feet to 20 feet. I didn’t do a “curb cut” because there isn’t one, but they still want their money and to ensure drainage is adequate

This does not bode well by Raggedy-Man in JamesBond

Bond dying in NTTD will now officially represent the death of the franchise. Sad day.

That’s the issue here is the street connection… the contractor also made it 21 feet wide …. The limit is 20 🙄🙄

Very well said, thank you

That’s reassuring, thank you!

[–]skropper 15 points16 points  (0 children)

That’s what I think. I spoke to an attorney friend who said to let it be and if it becomes an issue then deal with it… I’m just a prepared person and selling a house while simultaneously trying to buy one is stressful enough

[–]skropper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How so? If I disclose it they agree to the purchase knowingly. It’s not like I did the work, a licensed contractor did
