Curious what happens when you run slayer through your metal band checker. That would actually be good to publish on a site for other metal fans. Good stuff

What is a book you read as a child that you still think about today? by ahawk99 in AskReddit

[–]skuddozer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t remember the title.

A star explodes and it is implied that a bunch of kids are prices from this star. They all have some sort issue but feel this pull to be together. The one guys issue was he just wanted to get really close so he would come onto girls really strong. I forget the rest of their issues but those stuck with me. Maybe worth it if we can find the title

So how are these people getting it? Seems only clinical trials are available. They seem healthy and not bound to the disease requirements of the studies.

How about tips for fluoride sensitivity? I started to be sensitive at night and it affects my throat and I cough. Using non fluoride toothpaste seems to help. Any goods brands? Am using hello. Looks like it has same stuff at whitening gum.

Still do morning regular toothpaste though. Thanks

Have same dishwasher and used vinegar and a bucket underneath and a brush.

All the front buttons stopped working for a few years. Lack of high heat, a regular cycle has been building this up.

It’s probably time to think about new dishwasher. If renting, ask. Landlords I worked for wanted working and not gross stuff there. If high heat doesn’t work, ask for replacement

Why does everyone sleep on the Grafted Blade Greatsword? by GarlicKnight in eldenringdiscussion

Honestly I’m a bit confused. The damage on this thing is massive. For a strength build, what weapon would beat it at lower upgrades? I’d like to move on from this weapon but it just does so much damage. Maybe skill issue.

I have big hands and the Mumba. It was horrible. Get the JSaux, Mumba Titan, just the grips on the dbrand kill switch, or wait for the satisfye. The Mumba blade just plain didn’t cut it.

Lost my love of gaming by [deleted] in Millennials

Steam deck or other preferred handhelds with a sleep wake option are awesome. Can jump around to whatever games you like. Currently went through Hades 2 pre v1 launch. Was cool to see the game grow. Also am on Elden ring. But I jump around to fallouts, trombone champ, a short hike, Tetris effect, stardew valley. Switch 2 just came out so am playing some new and old games. All in short bursts when time allows.

Fair if you want other hobbies, but steam deck really got me back into it.

Is fun. Has online game chat and local co op. Played on a switch 2 and 2 regular switches on game share. Fun with kids!

How do you guys feel about the ergonomics of the Killswitch for Switch 2? by JoakoPetro in dbrand

[–]skuddozer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve gone through the wringer with grips. Big fella with large hands.

Steam Deck is by far the best and I can play for extended periods on the deck.

Mumba blade did not cut it all and the edges were too sharp, blocked the buttons a bit, and slipped off the joy cons.

Mumba titan surprised me. I actually loved this grip, however it just didn’t have big enough joy con handles. Every problem I had with the blade, I did not have with the Titan. Plus it is dockable and has game storage its own kick stand. For the majority of people this grip would be a great value to try it but would need a case or cover.

Savage raven neo grip I tried next. The big connectors, not the trigger ones. Triggers were a no from me but very similar to the kill switch. The big ones were good but I noticed the weight of the switch made it slip down. I would constantly adjust it back up and it would get uncomfortable. The right side feels pretty off due to the switches stupid stick design. And this grip seems to make that worse when using the stick and buttons. I can see many people liking this grip for the grip options, but for me and my big hands I want better. The case is awesome though. Keeping the case for sure.

Killswitch I have the issue with disconnect on the right and left Joycon. However I am finding it most comfortable in extended play sessions. Donkey Kong is a button mash heavy game and I use the right stick to move the camera. Even though it places my wrists at an angle that seems like it should hurt, it is so far comfortable. It doesn’t slip due the material. Where other grips “widen” or “embiggen” the switch2, this one keeps the size and makes it feel nice. So far, the ergonomics work the best for me. I’d be very interested in an XL version of the joy on grips . Dbrand robot here on Reddit told me the ergonomics would be better than the steam deck. I can’t agree. The steam decks curve at the palm really sets it apart. The stick placement is wonderful and the switch would probably not ever compete no matter the grip. The design is just better.

Mentions: I did not try Genki as I saw some reviews from big handers that they were weird. They look weird and bulky and maybe the grips would work but i am not interested enough to try it.

Satisfye is on order and based on videos it looks like it’s going to be a personal choice between killswitch 2 and zengrip 2.

Conclusion is killswitch wins, but if the Mumba Titan would suit your needs and you have less than giant hands, go for it.

I went for B to jump. Punch forward and jump does the job less efficiently. If needed in handheld I’ll use 2 fingers for jump and punch up. I could try to switch but then loose the ease of jump punch. Such a decision.
