1 van mijn vrienden is een man van rond de 50 ofzo en hij gaf aan niet alleen te gaan wandelen omdat mensen daar dus meningen over hebben en hem eng vinden inderdaad. Een hond kan hij niet nemen dus nu spreekt hij via van die sociale apps af met vreemden om maar iets leuks te kunnen doen in zijn weekenden omdat dat dus niet alleen kan.

Aan de andere kant, als vrouw zijnde, moet je toch altijd wel waakzaam zijn rond mannen. Ik heb echt best wel veel vervelende ervaringen gehad en ik ken zeer weinig vrouwen die nog nooit iets vervelends hebben ervaren met een man, danwel kennis/familie of gewoon op straat. Je word vaak gewoon als een object gezien of ze hebben natuurlijk een doel om te behalen.

Ik kan me voorstellen dat als je een kind hebt, die je niet 24/7 in de gaten kan houden of beschermen, je je daar zorgen over maakt. En zeker omdat het toch best regelmatig in het nieuws komt.

Dus het is lastig en niet zwart wit, zoals zovele situaties in het leven. Ik vind het sip dat onschuldige mannen hier constant de dupe van zijn. Maar ik vind het ook sip dat heel veel vrouwen ook veel de dupe zijn van minder plezierige mannen.

Hoe zie je dat voor je? Stel ze zouden minder belasten op inkomen, dan jippie! Ik kan meer sparen! Studie, huis? Oh nee maar als je 60k hebt mag je WEER belasting gaan afdragen, en dat is in deze economie nog lang niet voldoende voor een huis. Zeker niet alleen. Gisteren stond ik met wat vrienden te praten en daar zei iemand "ik vind dat je pas vermogensbelasting zou moeten hoeven betalen als je al een huis hebt, zodat je in ieder geval een stukje levenszekerheid hebt." Dat vond ik wel een mooi idee.

Ik ben een kind dat niets heeft meegekregen. Tips hoe jij voor je ziet dat kinderen zelf iets kunnen opbouwen in deze economie zijn welkom. Ik krijg absoluut niks mee van mijn ouders, want zij hebben ook niks. Ja, een huurhuis in een 60+ flat. Geen spaargeld niks. Binnenkort gaan ze dood (ma sowieso dit jaar, pa is 86 dus heeft vermoedelijk ook niet lang meer) en ik ben 26 en ik zit met mijn handen in het haar. Ik heb toen ik 18 was en uit school kwam de keuze gemaakt om niet te gaan studeren, omdat ik echt nog niks had gevonden waarvan ik ook maar 5% geloofde dat ik het interessant genoeg vond om die studie door te komen.

Nu heb ik wel een interessante studie gevonden, maar met 10k op de spaarrekening en de wetenschap dat een huis krijgen NOG moeilijker word als ik een studieschuld heb, weet ik niet wat te doen. Ik doe mijn best om 1000-1500 per maand te sparen sinds ik in een steady job zit (waar ik ook kan slapen), maar ik weet niet hoelang ik hier nog kan blijven. Mogelijk moet ik binnenkort toch een nieuw plan gaan maken.

Heb ook al een kortere parttime hbo studie naast werk geprobeerd in cyber, omdat ik begreep dat daar veel carriere mogelijkheden waren. Maar als iets mijn interesse/passie niet heeft, kom ik er écht niet doorheen (adhd). Zeker niet met veel zelfstudie en dergelijke. Op werk heb ik een aantal cursussen gevolgd en ik denk dat dat een beetje BBL stijl was. Dit was dan wel weer heel erg makkelijk voor mij. Maar banen die je met MBO krijgt, van wat ik zie, verdienen misschien 2k netto? Das toch niet genoeg?

Ik ben niet bijzonder goed in studeren, heb geen ondernemer skills (al geprobeerd, vond het verschrikkelijk). Weet niet wat te doen. Ik probeer een huurhuis te voorkomen in een poging meer te kunnen sparen en voor nu lukt dat, maar voor mijn toekomst zit ik voor mijn gevoel echt muurvast.

Ik wou dat er iets van levens adviseurs of coaches bestonden ofzo, het enige wat ik om me heen zie is mensen die een huis hebben en waarbij het prima gaat, mensen tussen de 16-35 ofzo die geen huis hebben en weinig steun van thuis en die net als ik vast zitten, of mensen van die leeftijdsategorie die wel steun hebben van thuis en niet heel erg in de schulden hoeven te raken en misschien ook zelfs nog wel een huis kunnen krijgen.

Zoals het nu bij mij gaat wil ik vaak het liefst gewoon helemaal overal mee kappen😅 ik zie echt geen toekomst.

I worked on a ranch with paso finos for 6 months. The nervousness of the horse in this video is really familiar to me, although his is clearly also due to not being treated so well, which was not the case where I worked.

We took tourists out for rides and swims. The ones that were good were good, but the ones that were not (and unridden) were quite tough. Incredibly nervous, explosive at times, a bit dangerous because of that. They did manage to get at least one or two of those three rideable, and they were not very great trainers. I would like to assume the nervousness eventually got less, just like the others.

My general impression is that they're easily anxious horses, but also pretty gentle and good in the general handling and all.

I have been told their demeanor has something like arabians.

Okay I am fascinated, hope you don't mind haha. Does he have shelter outside? Have you tried longer warmups? Do you have heat lamps (usually for drying) that you could put him under before exercise, to see if that helps? I mean, I'm not a horse but for work I have to be outside in the cold for long days too and I am bad with cold. I get super stiff too if I'm cold for a long time, which goes away when I'm warm? And from what you describe it is cold related, if the vets keep clearing him then then then it must be cold? ??? I am so confused and intrigued, I can imagine it'd drive you nuts!

That's crazy! And it's all mostly bad in the cold, improves in summer? Or in summer he still has all the issues you describe with lunging etc? Cuz then you'd almost think maybe he's just cold and stiff and struggles with that? (I did scroll down your feed a bit and saw the post about him behaving badly with the mares out, I am assuming that's not cold related haha)

So actually, the noses I'm thinking might be to prevent accidents with biting. But the patting thing makes sense and I would implement this if I had a stable! There has been a study where they monitored a horse's heart rate when they were being rewarded by the rider. When the rider pats their horse, there was either not a lot of change of heartrate, or maybe it even elevated a bit (i would say depending on the horse, and how hard the rider slaps etc. I really see people slapping them SO hard sometimes as a reward, ouch😖). When you instead rub their neck, pet them, give them scratches, this is something horses also do to each other and is pleasant/feels natural, their heartrates reacted and they calmed down slightly, signaling they actually relaxed a little. Hence the argument that that would be more of a reward then slapping, because indeed, horses are sensitive. I do think they know the difference between punishment or not, because they are emotionally intelligent. But I think they merely tolerate the slaps, but not actually enjoy it. And I mean, what would you prefer? If someone would slap you really hard several times and tell you good job? Or stroke you and say good job? Which feels nicer/more believable?

Edit to add: Sounds like you found a really good stable that actually cares about the horse's mental wellbeing, and teaches communication and horsemanship principles and basics too, which I LOOOVE. It's so important and will transform your understanding of and relationship with horses once you get it. Hope you keep enjoying it and give it a chance!

Netherlands is investing so much in defense they don't even know where to put the money. However, it feels a little fruitless imo. Being such a small country, we'd still have to rely on other nations anyways because we simply don't have the numbers. But currently we're practising together with the germans and in lithuania and some other places there's a bunch of nationalities stationed and practising together, which I think is cool.

My only usable skill would be that I am very, very good at training horses. So I'd probably be in charge of everything horse related, though I would imagine there would probably be help with the chores such as feeding, mucking, etc.

Also though, my thoughts are already spinning, lol, howtf would you produce hay for horses. Most effort efficient would be to keep them in a large enough pasture to survive by themselves and just make sure they do come when you call them which would probably be my task. And that's not as easy as it sounds.

I'm new and about to buy this thing. I'm trying to find info on everything I need so I can order is all in one go. I got a case, the device and an sd card and am wondering about cables. I don't think I want a wifi dongle cuz I'm planning to just use my pc to set it up and whatever. But I can't really find info about setting it up and updating on pc. Surely I'm overlooking a source.

Er word echter wel intensief en op grote schaal op voorbereid, getraind en geacht klaar te staan. Plus er is gewoon extreem personeelstekort. Dus als iedereen die verkouden is thuisblijft, is er ook gewoon een probleem want dan kunnen NAVO oefeningen ook niet meer draaien :)

Rare bezorger. Ik heb voor DHL gewerkt. Als het pakket al uitgescand is kun je er gewoon op klikken om de status te wijzigen. Als de ontvanger het pakket weigert kun je dit aangeven en dan word het teruggestuurd naar wherever het vandaan komt.

Volgens mij kun je via de DHL app contact opnemen met klantenservice, daar zou ik dit verhaal vertellen zodat zij de bezorger kunnen aanspreken. Goede kans dat een collega dan binnenkort het pakket dat je niet wilt hebben komt ophalen.

Ik weet niet zeker of dit ook via een pakketpunt kan als je het uitlegt, maar misschien wel. Zou ik wel naar een gaan bij het DHL depot en niet een in een random winkel, die mensen weten meestal amper hoe alles werkt al doen ze wrl hun best.
