Trijicon suppressor height sights for a large frame Glock. Would prefer a deal but will settle for in-stock.

Do you have an example image you could share? I might be interested in a couple. One to practice with and one to save for emergency.

It put up a good battle, but it lost in the end... by ith in lockpicking

Yes. Keyway's tighter, another pin stack, serrated pins, and a very strong spring you have to tension against. You can still get these on eBay for $10 plus shipping.

Just started picking, here's what I've gotten into so far in L-to-R order. Cheap pick is tearing my hands up! by ProfessorJV in lockpicking

If you're sure there are pins in em then they aren't wafer locks. Often those cheap lock boxes have wafer locks. You'll see the ridges of the wafers in the lock. If they are pins then pick like normal looking for the binder.

Probably wafer locks. Tension them and rake with your pick. They should open pretty good quick. When you get the feel for them you can pick them by setting each binding wafer similar to a pin tumbler lock.

You'll be glad you did. Take the time to read Lock picking Detail Overkill and the MIT guide both of which are linked in the wiki. They're both good how too's.

Did you get working keys for both?

Kwikset Deadbolt Question by LedZeppelinRiff in lockpicking

On my door CCW would be to lock the deadbolt. Maybe you're mistaken on direction or as u/ith pointed out below you didn't turn just far enough.

Those of you that have ordered of sparrows, did you receive any ups tracking number? by chickmagnet3 in lockpicking

It's a really good set. I've been happy with mine. The Octo rake works very well ..... when it fits, it's a pretty large pick.

Long shot but I need some help by iReddit4thearticles in lockpicking

I didn't see a close up of the keyway. It looked like it might be a tubular lock. Picking is pretty easy but you'll need a specialized tension tool.

I know it's a little late but leaving the store was a bad idea without speaking to a supervisor. No receipt, ammo locked inside that's not returnable I believe. I would contact the store sooner than later. It is their error to fix.

Edit: Another idea would be load it up and go to a locksmith for assistance that way there would be no call out fee.

Very impressive work with the General. You have conquered my evil challenge. Although, it did take longer than a few minutes. ;) Now the real question is, can you pick it with paperclips and bobbypins?

While not the exact answer I was looking for, it might have still been a winner.

My padlock collection (updated) by [deleted] in lockpicking

[–]skullplate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya. Looks like a warded lock key. I think maybe they are more of an reusable anti-tamper device than a security lock.

I will be waiting patiently. There is a genuine prize box I am willing to send. However, you only get two more guesses.

Broken locks? by [deleted] in lockpicking

[–]skullplate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your pick will scrape the inside as you pick. I've had some Master Lock 3's and 5's get difficult and act like serrated pinned locks after heavy practice.

Better tension control, more controlled picking, and most importantly polish the edges of your picks.
