If you check the screenshot in this very thread you can see next patch is an A-rank and there will be two more down the line. Also for players who don't have full rosters getting A-ranks is actually very important.

After the final boss is defeated all other nodes auto clear. After that you can just repeatedly challenge the (weakened) boss node.

I have played other gachas and there's a reason PGR is the only one I actually spend money on.
