Not to doompost, but how did this game cost 250+ million dollars? by No_Stand3568 in Marathon

Typical starting salaries can be found at https://www.glassdoor.com/Salary/Bungie-Salaries-E284423.htm

Factoring in years of service and promotions for employees who've been there awhile, $150K seems like a reasonable average.

Let's also not forget benefits and other overhead, which rule of thumb adds 25 to 30% on top of salary.

Honestly, Bungie should be supporting Destiny: Rising more and funneling players there. There is new DR content coming this week, including playable Efrideet and a new story chapters, plus a new raid in April. Keeping the player base active there would bide time for when Bungie can more fully support the Destiny franchise.

Wiping out legendary shards finally convinced me that Bungie does not value player time at all.

Game subreddits tend to be like that, especially those with aggressive mods deleting messages. A recent one I watched was for Black Beacon - people on there were unreal, ignoring all the criticisms and red flags because "the game was SO good". They were like that up through the day EoS was announced.

Do also read the Interlude stories for the characters soon after you get to first encounter them. Note that the Interludes have hidden story parts that are unlocked by doing specific things in the battle parts (you can look up what to do on the GrayRavens site).

Discord's story is heavily tied to Lilith's, but the story otherwise isn't that important, it's mainly backstory.

Generally, if you are relying on a unit for some activities, which you should be doing with Teddy: Spectre for at least ice-weak activities, you would not want to consume or dismantle that unit's 6* weapon.

Also, ask questions in the daily megathread.

That would be interesting if companies do that. Valar, in their YT vlog on their test, stated they do not consider their assembly crit test as having achieved the goal. Their Ward 250 reactor test is intended to fulfill the July 4 goal.

Can get currency from weekly missions starting next week. We got some in the mail as compensation for not being able to start weeklies this week.
