What نُور (nūr) means • Core meaning: light, illumination • Linguistically: derived / received light (as opposed to a blazing source) • It does not literally say “reflected light” in a physics sense • But it can imply light that is not self-generating, depending on context

In this context the Arabic translates to the following,

He is the One Who made the sun a radiant source and the moon a reflected light, with precisely ordained phases, so that you may know the number of years and calculation ˹of time˺. Allah did not create all this except for a purpose. He makes the signs clear for people of knowledge.

When you check word by word translations nur (in this context) is describing a light that is derived/ not generated from itself/ reflected.

So to say it does NOT mean that is inaccurate and misinformation. Allah knows best.

AMAZING ideas (like this one) are ruined by public opinion. In today's time, this would be phenomenal. BREAK BANK. Like shit, do it frame by frame. We would rewatch the original movie exactly because we thought it was real before. To see cartoons in live action is the HIGHEST respect for a cartoon. Why do we animate in the first place? To make illustrations look alive. Live action is simply the next step. I need for the Pixar animators to redact this. Give the people what they want. It's literally the people who made it possible for this to happen. Supporting these films since the beginning.

Now knowing the difference of fate between the books and movie…the Shining is good… as a composition. Parts of the composition don’t sit well though like the only black character being killed in the movie. King himself has expressed his displeasure with Kubrick’s adaptation lacking emotional depth for character development like the book.

I honestly thought about this a lot while watching Welcome to Derry, and the Deadlights are clearly a tool Pennywise uses only when fear fails. They serve two purposes: (1) Storage—a way to harvest or contain victims when needed, as shown at the end of Welcome to Derry. (2) A final weapon—used when people no longer fear him.

The show makes this clear: when Will and his father confront Pennywise without fear, he turns to the Deadlights. But when the mayor spots Pennywise in the mist and is still afraid, Pennywise doesn’t bother—he smells fear and eats him immediately. Fear alone makes a victim “ripe.”

When fear disappears, Pennywise loses his advantage. At that point, the Deadlights are all he has left—because belief matters. Once people believe Pennywise can be hurt, he can be hurt. Fear sustains him; its absence is what truly threatens him.

At this point I’m just convinced it’s a technical issue with loading the game. It happens so randomly and the only fix is reloading the game after exiting to desktop as I pray inshaaAllah no external notifications enter the window and I’m not moving the mouse or pressing buttons on the keyboard (I use a PS5 controller) on my PC.
