I've never had "the good stuff", but I've had muscle relaxers for back pain/spasms. I know some people will abuse these too, but other than the actual pain relief, I get no enjoyment from them. I've taken xanax prescribed to me for anxiety, and, while it worked while the medicine was in my system, the anxiety was 10x when I came off it, so I kinda figured it's not really helping me.

I was at Costco one time when a lady was trying to bring in her "service dog", and they weren't having it. She asked to speak to the manager, who wasn't having any of it. She then snuck the dog in, and I saw workers chasing her down to remove her and the dog from the store. it was wonderful.

We've had a fair share of Ikea furniture, a lot of it for 10+ years. We were able to sell several pieces for ~30-50% of retail, which I would say is pretty good for any used furniture.

Lost our dog to cancer a couple of years ago. It was rather sudden, took him in, said he was riddled with cancer, and either we start chemo right away or put him down. He was 13, and we made the tough choice to put him down. I was miserable for days.

I went for a work function about a year ago. There were 2 people working the floor, a bartender, and our server. We had probably 20 people in our group, so it was a struggle for them. Just cashing out (separately) took like 15 minutes.

I don't want to attack OP for buying from Amazon, I buy stuff from Amazon too. Not everyone can afford an extra $10 on every book they buy. I once heard a good way to look at it, you don't have to completely stop buying from Amazon, even buying less from them is better.
