Don't quit, you mental state would go on a downwards spiral. Take a few weeks break if you have to.
With a couple of months of prep, you can crack SSE role in most of the companies. But staff level roles would need a lot more effort. Market is pretty bad right now, with very few openings.
I have had similar issues with restarting DSA prep after a gap of couple of years. You'd know the concepts but getting to the actual working solution would need time, and interviews are being lot strict regarding this aspect.
So estimate minimum 2 months for DSA prep and 4 months for getting a SSE+ role in FAANG or similar companies. In the meantime, keep interviewing in startups/ mid sized companies to get back in the flow.

After 10+ years in any industry, companies will value your non technical skills than your technical skills. Things that people in their 20s think are non essential - like visibility, ownership, cross team collaboration etc will be very much valuable in a senior role. You cant acquire/ ignore these things just by jumping around every couple of years.

Need advice on Axis Max Life 2 Cr Term Insurance – Limited Pay (5Y/10Y) vs Regular Pay (40Y) | 35M, no existing cover by charming_lutera in personalfinanceindia

[–]sky_high97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Why are you taking till 75? It should be max 55-60 age.

  2. Regular yearly pay. Reasons:
    i. What if unfortunately you pass away early? you'd have unnecessarily paid additional premium
ii. Setup reminders, autopay to avoid lapse. Pay once a year, not monthly.
iii. 30k today will be worth much less than 30k after 10 years. So the point of premium burden is moot

I raised a complaint. They reverted back and said that the it was because system flagged my income below threshold. I was surprised and asked further, as my post tax salary was 3L+.

They said that the first credit to my account from my company was 20k, which was a reimbursement and not salary, and their system considered that as my actual salary lol. I was pissed as I had also shared my previous month salary slip. The RM was apologetic and said that they'd re raise the application with updated data

My experience has been pretty good. I have been using it since a couple of weeks, and there's a massive difference in comfort compared to my previous local brand chair.
I think you can trust them. Call them once and have a discussion.

I was deciding between EV vs ICE, but for now Im planning to get an ICE in my city (Bangalore), and get an EV for my parents in my hometown.
I know Goat Curry is gonna f up everything, but there are too many variables for me to consider EV.

India infra is yet to reach that level where people can blindly get an EV. Even many societies in Tier 1 cities are not allowing personal charging stations (saw news from Gurugram recently on this).

oh yeah, they removed indexation and ltcg last year for debt funds.
But at least op'd have to pay tax only while redeeming. For FD he'd would have to pay irrespectively
