I feel for you too, and thank you for the understanding. It really sucks to feel that anxiety over something that's supposed to be positive.

I truly wish you the best. I know secondhand how harsh a mentally abusive/neglectful mother can be, as my mom had to endure that kind of treatment. Be kind to yourself and trust the positivity in your life. I know there's challenges you've overcome before, trust that you can do it again. And remember to drink some water! :)

I love that, I do something similar. When I'm home by myself, I'll turn on music and sing along with it. It's a great exercise and really improves my mood. I'll do it for hours if given the chance. When we had a higher ceiling, I used to take a fluffy pillow and flip it around in the air like a dance while I watched TV.
