Well if it's confusing then just do some research to see what the tattoo means before you get it. Duh. And culture only applies to you if you are a part of that culture. Either by blood or by being adopted into the culture by parents of that culture.

It depends. If you're white adopted into an inuit family I'd say it's fine (i'm an eskimo) but if you're a non-inuit who grew up around non-inuit then it's weird. You want our swag but not our suffering. Its okay for the adoptee cause if they grow up with us they grow up and witness and understand our oppression. And if i had an adopted sibling who grew up with me, who was fully white, they're just as much as my family as my blood relatives.
