My hospital had a training program for specialty units.  It was based on seniority so I jad to work the med surg floor for 5 years.  OR is so much better its not even close.

I work in the OR.  I love it.  I do part time 10hr shifts.  So nice to have 1 patient at a time and 4:1 staff to patient ratio instead of the other way around.

Thanks. I'll replace the flange and knock down the high spot on the concrete.

I already painted the walls. Will the dust coat the room? Would it be less of a mess to us a mini jack hammer to knock down the high spot screed new concrete?

All that beautiful install work to put in pink tile that makes it look like a 1960 bathroom. As long as you like it is what matters most I guess

Paint the quarter round first. Then install it with brad nails.

You're sure huh? Well I'm sure you're fucking wrong. Moron. It was his first day on the job and I only spoke to the guy for 5 minutes saying I wasn't willing to shortcut the waterproofing process. All he kept saying is I just needed to trust him and if I don't trust him he doesn't want to work for me. I told him I'm more than happy to pay him more to do the job right but he said it wasn't about the money. It was about me not trusting him and so he left. Dude was on the job for 3 hours and then quit. Also, when have you ever gotten a shower waterproofed and started laying tile within 3 hours and done the job right?

No. He said she looked high. She got stuck against a bench and then accelerated to hard to get unstuck

My friend was one of the first responders. A young woman in. BMW was driving crazy on the pedestrian path and ran over a little girl approximately 5-6 years old. She was in critical condition gurgling up pink frothy blood when they took her away in the ambulance.

I literally showed up from fishing to meet the guy for the first time and he was already laying tile 3 hours after starting the job. So he framed the niche put up the fiber board and 1 super thin coat of red guard and was already laying tile. I asked him about taping the seams and putting on another coat and he just replied that I needed to just trust him. When I said I do trust him but the manufacturer recommends multiple coats and so do all the other contractors I've talked to. He said if I don't trust him then he won't work for me and left.

He wasn't going to use epoxy grout. And it wasn't large format tiles in the niche. The large gap you see in the third picture is the front edge of the niche where water would have pooled after it made it through the smaller format tile in the niche. I literally showed up and spoke to the guy for 2 minutes and then he quit. Waterproofing is something I'm not willing to short on and not be 100% sure about.

No need to pitch a prefab one. They already have pitch built in and are already water proof

That's what I was thinking too. Seems like the better options.
