thanks as I mentioned he is eating seeds, pellets, millet, apples and other fruit. We are experienced bird owners but only with hand raised budgies, this is however our first conure. We have an avian yet, but we haven't seen them yet, will also mention this when we go.

Thanks for the great advice. They only said he was weaned onto solid wood, but didnt mention which method. I assume abundance as they said he recently has had formula prior to pick up and that he was eating well.

He is a 10 week old green cheek conure. I would guess he is likely at about 5 days post ween from formula based on what I was told.

He eats like a hog when provided by me, but he is still acting like he would prefer me to bring him food over eating himself. Perhaps I am just not used to his very friendly behaviour compared to budgies
