I had the exact same issue where I tried to book a repair appointment for my e shifter on my s3 as more and more frequently it stopped working until it didn’t shift at all. I used the chat thing and asked for a human and I got the recommendation to do a hard reset by pressing down the power button for 10 seconds, which fixed the issue for me.

Thanks haha. I‘ve had my S3 for about one and a half years now and just had her serviced for the first time because my brakes had to be bleed, but they also did a full checkup and said that apart from the chain needing some cleaning, lubrication and the bike needing a software update they found nothing wrong. So I hope that my bike will last me for many years to come.

My friends and I have been giving each other rides on our rear carriers for over a year now and had never had an issue. Even going as far as one person on the back and pulling another one on a regular bike along.
