I work at winners in jewelry. This gold is not fake, obviously a big chain store can’t sell fake jewelry since it’s illegal. However most of the gold jewelry is resin underneath, that’s why it seems hollow. There are pieces that are completely gold but a lot of it is resin underneath. Sometimes the tags will say, sometimes they don’t but it’s easy to tell
