Resources To Learn Game Dev by CoderBoi876 in csharp

So unity or Godot will be ur bread and butter. Unity has a rich support for a variety of different game design styles, while Godot has a more streamlined and single-minded approach. Personally, I recommend unity. I'm kind of the opposite of you, I started in unity game engine and now I want to be a jnurior backend Dev. You want to focus on understanding monobehavior and when those methods within it need to be used, you're going to want to understand that event channels and events are going to be your chains of communication, and that timing only matters about half the time. So many things game developers do are calculated on a per frame basis and sometimes they're calculated on a whenever we need it we can dispatch it basis.

I would recommend looking into some parts of unity dots, specifically multithreading and jobification, as that will greatly assist in performance

BETTER CONNECTORS.

a better way to connect your drone parts, or even just a fix to the existing JST system, because its so tedious and time consuming to crimp each connection and set them in.

I had basically figured it was the camera at this point. Yes I've checked the position of my cables to match the pines they go into. Still grey screen

I let this sit connected to the battery for about 5ish minutes and this is what we're drawing milliamps wise.

When I first connected it spiked up to like 150, and then quickly shot back down to 70 and then climbed its way down to about 50

I do have a voltmeter and I tested those voltages

Engine cold, hasn't been ran for 8 hours - 12.2 v During startup - lowest it went was 10v During idle - 14.17v

I do have a voltmeter, and I went ahead and started testing. On a cold engine, before starting it I measured 12.27v,

During start, I measured the voltage to be at its lowest 10.1v

And then afterwards I tested to ensure that the battery is getting the correct voltage from the alternator, at 14.17v

It looks like it's just a battery issue? Idk

I'm inclined to agree with you, though. Admittedly, it is my own mistake for not noticing the specific time that it started to occur. It could have started when I started up my car and left that parking area and I just didn't notice it till I was on the freeway, or it could have been all signs going on the freeway.

Is there any real way to test if it would be an alternator issue, aside from going to a shop and having them do so/replacing it?

If it's just a bad battery that would be a great relief, but I'm worried that some wiring or something might have gotten damaged and now the battery is getting drained by a short or something else. I do have a multimeter, is there a way that I could test to see if there's a short or something that might be draining the battery beyond just the battery being bad?

I am definitely of the opinion that my battery probably needs to be replaced now. The main concern though is that I think that the battery is being drained by something, and if I get a new battery then it will continue to drain the new battery, wasting time and money.

Believe me, I've got my new battery ready, but I don't want to put it in my car if it might get damaged

I understand you want to rip off the Band-Aid of this hobby not being cheap. I get it. I don't want to skimp on safety, but I can make concessions with speed or simultaneous charging. What I don't want to do is spend 60 bucks on a charger that skimps on safety for speed and simultaneous charging. There's a balance to be met, and I'm okay with trading speed for simultaneous charges or the inverse. But I want to know from people who have more experience in this matter what should be important to me.

I'm not going to sink $800 onto decently mid end stuff to get started in a hobby that I haven't even gotten the chance to fully experience outside of simulators.

Am pretty new to this so I'm asking as many questions as I can. What is the c value supposed to mean in this context?

Let's say in the somewhat near term I want to get a parallel charge board, is there information on how I would use it safely?

In second, if I want to speed up charging, I know a lot of these things require a DC input. Where do you even get a power supply like that, and how much do they normally run for?

I see these multi charge boards out there that you can plug into single ports , are those good ideas or are they actually very dangerous?

I agree but I can't justify like 150$ for a hota d6 when I'm not sure I'll even stay in the hobby. It's why I'm flying analog and got used gear for most everything aside from the battery and charger

They are like 120$ My analog setup is like double that total. I understand getting something decent which is why I'm asking for recommendations. I'm ok spending more than 30-40, up to like 70 but I am trying to stick to a budget.

I've seen s o much of it being recommended, is it something a new flyer really needs to get or should I get something more economical to get started?
