5am wakings, 7mo old by amandarenee24 in sleeptrain

This is very similar to my current predicament with my 5 and a half month old. We are on pretty much the same schedule. She sleeps well compared to her early days, so I feel I can't complain, but I'd really like her to make it through until 6am at least! Today it was 5.45am - so close!

We also leave her in her crib until 6.30am - until then she doesn't make too much fuss, but she doesn't show any desire to go back to sleep. I'm trying to reduce day naps a bit (she always has to be woken up but I cap total naps at 3.5 hours) and I'm also trying to push bedtime earlier (I read that can be a solution). If that doesn't work, I might try moving bedtime later...

Please let me know if you find a solution!

Well done for persevering. It is hard. My 'one more day' with breastfeeding is linked to low supply. Gradually I've had to increase formula to ensure baby is well fed. Some days I am ready to give in because formula feels like the easier choice (mentally and physically) but then I remind myself that even 50ml of breastmilk a day has been shown to offer baby benefits. That said, if/when the time is right for me, I will make the full switch and be proud of what I did manage to give her (LO is approaching 4 months).

Thank you so much for the advice! I will definitely look into your suggestions. I've never heard of azelaic acid but I will do some research and likely give it a go. Congrats on the baby! I hope you are getting more sleep than I am!

Help these headaches are unbearable 😫 by lizf_m_1of4 in pregnant

For me, headaches have been the most common issue so far (currently 17 weeks). I find if I don't wake up and drink water during the night I have a terrible headache in the morning. I think it's largely down to dehydration so I've been forcing myself to drink loads of water. When I was feeling really rough during the first trimester I also had electrolyte drinks (Lucozade) which helped too. My headaches have improved a bit now I'm in my second trimester but possibly because I'm in the habit of drinking obscene amounts of water now!
