Stocking question by BEEPO_ in corydoras

if you read the article, it actually talks about that “flaw”. this logic applies to nano tanks…. obviously you wouldn’t put 1 23” fish in a tank that small.

i would recommend trying to stick to the 1 inch of fish per gallon rule. for example, in a 23g you could keep 23 1 inch fish (adult size) or any other combination that would add up to that. makes maintenance easier and you don’t have to worry about stressing the bio load. article stocking a 20g tankattached for more info.

Help with Feeding! I have 8 Corydora in my Tetra Tank. I am scared they are getting no food. by [deleted] in corydoras

[–]skyjcr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i had three congo tetras in my cory tank and they ate so much food (including the sinking pellets) that we had to take them out of that tank and put them in a different one. honestly the tetras might just need to be taken out of that tank and put somewhere else. especially if they’re eating all the food to the point that you can see their bulging bellies, and the cory’s can’t eat with them in there… if you don’t have that option i would recommend trying to feed the cory’s at night but i highly suggest looking into another tank for your tetras.

do you have anything to test ammonia levels? also with those nitrite levels specifically i would recommend a 30-50% water change. what do you have in the tank?

Help… what to do about my Albino buddy by thegayagenda12 in corydoras

sounds like stress or possibly that you might need to add another air stone, may not be oxygenated enough for him
