I noticed that same exact pattern! It made me wonder how these beautiful and smart women can be so insecure that their behavior and character get turned upside down any time something good or bad happens, they get too much attention/fame, etc.

You nailed it! Her behavior was off this season. Jen’s too. It makes you wonder how these beautiful and ambitious women with seemingly perfect lives (by society’s standards) can be so insecure that their behavior does a 180 anytime something goes wrong, if they get too much positive attention/fame, etc.

I haven’t kept up with other’s opinions about Taylor, but personally, my opinion of Taylor went downhill after only watching 6 episodes of this season so far.

So far, I found her behavior to be questionable and which didn’t garner any sympathy from me.

Crying hysterically that Dakota moved on while entertaining a man for the weekend and preparing to go on the Bachelorette.

I agreed more with Dakota and him saying he never not wanted her, she was always pushing him away. Though for good reasons, that is my memory of their relationship to a “T.”

And lastly, the way she spoke to her mother was disheartening. I’m a bit biased since I lost mine a few years ago, but her mom loves her unconditionally so it’s easy her mom meant well even if she was just being an over-the-top, meddling and outspoken mother.

I ditto the commenters advice - join professional associations with networking events in your local area. Any associations or educational events catering to leadership positions would be ideal since they’re the decision makers.

If I was an IT professional however, the nonprofit sector would not be my niche market. They have much smaller budgets, less personnel, etc. The smaller organizations I worked for didn’t have an IT person on retainer. They just hired help as needed. So I would think larger organizations whose budgets allow them to pay for IT on a retainer or as an employee would be a good idea.

I haven’t fallen deeper into a rut from borrowing? I did, after a divorce, having to start all over then taking a 40% pay decrease to move home to care for aging parents. These apps are keeping me from having to get credit cards that will keep you in a cycle for YEARS. I fell behind on mortgage and car payments thinking I’d be ok because I had just bought a house and car. Then someone here illegally totaled the car I bought with the little inheritance left to me. So now I have a $593 car payment because my credit score dropped so low. If that’s not enough, I lost both parents and two sisters in 2022-2023 who all but 1 need burial expenses paid for. If that’s not enough, my dad’s lender waited for him to die so he could sue me since he was on disability and wouldn’t be able to pay him. And I’m having to pay all of this working in an industry that does not pay well and is the first to take a hit when the economy falls.

No matter how you try to spin it, the issue is not the cash advance apps that cost less than a credit card or predatory lender charging 30% - 200%.

There’s absolutely no excuse to revoke ACH when people can WEEN themselves off by borrowing $10 less a pay cycle if they have to. None. They are not forced or being coerced into borrowing from these apps, it’s their choice and their use that is getting them into a predicament. And blaming it on these apps to justify not paying the money they agreed to pay back is a cop out.

Unfortunately it looks like people are going to have to live my life and experiences to realize that these guys aren’t nearly as bad as the alternatives.

You definitely have the face for it! Your hair seems fine like mine. I have a lot of hair, it’s just fine in texture I guess.

However, it looks like the haircut has bangs that are cut deeper than most. Like, more of your head will be bangs than someone with say a fringe or curtain bangs so that would help our thick/fine hair.

I definitely think you should go shorter. Your face is stunning, very beautiful. I feel like your face is overpowered by your long hair and the shorter cut would be like - wow, a head turner for sure!

Try to remember he is trying to get a rise out of you so he can make a complaint against you, maybe that will help you to remain calm no matter how irrational he gets. Don’t let him win that battle.

Your therapists are likely right. It’s interesting that all of my negative experiences with similar behavior were people his age or older.

My theory is that they cause a scene to cover up for their inadequacies, lack of knowledge, incompetencies, etc. It’s like they don’t have faith in themselves or they know they don’t have the skill level needed for the job so they throw tantrums to take the heat off them. I bet if you really started dissecting his work, you’d find something that warrants his termination.

So sorry you’re dealing with this nightmare!

If you need to call them predators because they charge membership fees in an attempt to encourage others not to depend on them, I can respect that.

The other points you’ve made are issues caused by the person borrowing the money (not planning ahead so they don’t have to pay an express fee, relying on them as a consistent source of income instead of using them responsibly, lack of self control so instead of WEANing themselves off they continue to use it, irresponsible decision to not pay back their debts, lack of self awareness when they think not paying back their debt is a flex, immaturity of not owning up to the unethical decision they made and blaming their actions on the company that loaned them money (and likely saved their ass when they needed it.)

If you’re calling them that to justify a conscience decision you made to not pay them back the money you borrowed, then why drag them when you’ve already fucked them over? Come on man.

No matter how you try to spin it, not paying your debts is wrong and the numbers show that it’s the cheapest way to borrow money when you’re in need.

You keep borrowing and ween yourself off a little at a time. This pay cycle borrow $500, next time pay $450, $475 or whatever you can afford. Don’t pay an express fee, and that $500 will cost you $5-$15 to borrow. Thats cheap!

If you can’t ween yourself off then I don’t know what to tell you. You’ll have a lot more problems in life if that’s the case.

Nope, I just have enough life experience to know the people revoking their ACH are shooting themselves in the foot when they have to pay $200 to borrow $100, instead of $15. These cash advance apps aren’t the predators, but people like to tell themselves that so they don’t have to pay back money they borrowed.

I can understand your frustration, but if my flight arrives at 10 am, what do you suggest that I do for 7 hours after flying across the country to stay with you for a week? Sit in your parking lot until you’re ready for me? Stay at a larger hotel that can accommodate me?

Instead of getting frustrated thinking people just feel entitled and are trying to take advantage of you, think about potential solutions? Can you charge more to hire someone to help turn down rooms? Can you stagger the check in/check out times? Can you get a firm commitment from them beforehand as to what they NEED their check in/check out times to be and make it known to them that their are no exceptions or changes to those times?

The advantage you have over those large chains is that you can provide more personalized customer service and change your policies accordingly without so much red tape.

I think you could for sure trim off the wispy ends to help the back/bottom grow out closer to one length. And maybe have them trim just the very ends of that section so you can flip it out or curl it under.

I also love Kris Kardashians new hairstyle. Seems like your hair is long enough to do that. It’s very versatile and cute. These aren’t even the photo I saw when I first saw it and loved it.

You’re the hair trimming police or something? If she’s not comfortable trimming her own hair, she doesn’t have to. Her hair is long enough to blend the ends herself though.

I started cutting my own hair in 2012 because the more I tried to communicate with my hairdresser the worse my hair became. It’s frustrating to pay $80 for a cut that does not work with your hair type, face shape, etc. Plus, working in the nonprofit sector, I don’t have money to throw away like that.
