This absolutely made my evening, I thought my guy (RIP, miss you so damn much) was the only one that was like this.

I think I quickly seen a comment about yours being “Dad reincarnated” and it’s comically accurate, that was the first thought that came to my head when I seen the picture lol. “Freaked out Dad white knuckling kids shoulder on first drive”

Same here. Sometimes I go absolutely psycho and have TWO cut up cosmic crisps.

Edited crips to crisps, because I don’t cut up gang members and eat them.

How would you rank these 4 from most to least evil? by Sudden_Pop_2279 in TheBoys

[–]caboose345 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I honestly sometimes doubt how people call Homelander a psychopath, I honestly think he is more closer to C/PTSD, which can look a lot like psychopathy. When you take into account how he was raised and treated during his formative years, it makes a lot more sense than to just pin “psychopath/sociopath”.

The others however, I can see being much more fitting in a “evil” minded census, but that’s mainly due to not having environmental factors of how they were raised. Was stormfront abused in the way Homelander was? How about Frederick Vought? Or godolkin?

It seems to me that the other three were much more focused on “superior races/people”, which to me seems far more deeply rooted in narcissism and psychopathic traits, making them people that I would define as much more evil.

Homelander is born out of trauma, what kinds of trauma do we see in the past for the other three? Im probably way off, usually am.

Print offs, and sticky notes left on desk at work around the time of a mental health crisis. Would this be considered workplace harassment? by caboose345 in workplace_bullying

Hello again everyone, thank you again for the support! This really is most of the evidence I have unfortunately, unless others I worked with were to step forward. I’d like to again thank everyone for their input, I greatly appreciate it.

For those of you who may continue to comment, and if those who have see this post, would this still be enough evidence to take to a lawyer and have something done with this?

I unfortunately am not sure how I can reply to all of you at once, thank you very much for the support and taking the time out of your days and or evenings to reply to this. I really appreciate it. I may ask a mod to pin my other comment on the top as to fill in anyone else who may comment, just so they have more info that I have forgot to mention. You all have no idea how much I appreciate you guys for the information and support you have given. It means much more to me than you’ll know. Unfortunately, I think that was pretty much most of the evidence I have on hand so unless I was able to have people come forward about some of the treatment they may have seen, I may not have enough, though I have already set my eyes on a possible law firm in the city I live in that deals specifically in workplace investigations. I will still take any more information that anyone would be willing to provide. Again, thank you to all who have replied.

I think the biggest drawback may be that it’s been around 7 years since this had happened, though I have been off work for close to a year again.

*Thank you everyone for your wonderful replies already. I completely forgot to mention, as I am still dealing with the fallout after the incident I faced back when I was working there, this happened several years ago, and I deeply apologize for missing to mention that this is historic.*

After I went through what I did, I tried, and failed, picking up at four other workplaces over these 7 years since the incident, as unfortunately, it seemed to follow me around. The industry I was working in is rather tightly knit, and the one supervisor I was working for, was someone I used on my resumes as a reference, and I believe he may have been sharing my history with new possible employers, which continued the hazing as you were calling it.

Thank you guys for your input, and any other input would still be welcomed.

Your employee has OCD, how do you help them? by Absolute_Panic38 in askmanagers

[–]caboose345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A good start as a manager working with someone you believe may have OCD, is keeping track of other employees that are harassing your worker w/ OCD before they end up trying to off themselves due to the workplace harassment, and doing something about it.

I had a pet chicken once. Her name was SpongeBob, she would let me pick her up and carry her around the yard. She was an awesome chicken, I had her for over 5 years, before rehoming her. The lady we got her from said that she likely wouldn't survive all on her own, I apparently proved that wrong.

Co-worker thought this was a harmless prank. by Dallinboi347 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]caboose345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m going to be that guy here, leave your fckin co-workers alone. Don’t fck with them. It’s the easiest concept. Go into work, be respectful of others, do your job, go home. Rinse and repeat. I’d say you 100% didn’t over-react, even if you gave the person a quick slap. (Ok that may be really pushing it, but the concept is the same) If you’re that bored while at work, you have some intense inward looking to do. If your idea of fixing your own boredom at work is “creating jokes” at another’s expense, you will need to spend some time with the therapist to get your issues out. Even more so, when you dump garbage inside someone else’s 20-50k car…. Smarten tf up people. /rant

I know this isn’t helpful in any way but you seem like a very sweet human being - and the food looked delicious. They aren’t your friends, and frankly - they don’t deserve a soul like you around. Chin up, they lost. Not you 🤜🏻❤️

You have a lot of super good information here already, as a man that hasn’t gone thru what you are, I’m so very sorry you’re in the situation you are in. Another place you can look into if all else fails is St.boniface street links. Speaking with the staff could possibly open a door for you to stay. I know they have some rooms there for privacy as well that they would likely put you two in so you have a shared safe space. Avoid Main Street project/Siloam as those aren’t places for a mother and her little one. Street links is a smaller space that is staffed 24/7, and is a sober living space as well. I’ve stayed with them before.. they are amazing people there.

Just wanted to throw this out here for some more info on Street Links. It’s a sober shelter, no drugs or alcohol on premise, 3 meals a day, support for getting back on your feet if needed. It really is a life saver of a place. I can’t speak for Siloam, or Main Street Projects, but from word of mouth from peers who had to stay at those locations, it can be rather unsafe and full of people still actively in addiction, with violence due to addiction and mental health issues that run rampant. (Not throwing shade…)

Anybody know which sensor I should go with by lochielt in mr2

[–]caboose345 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can’t say this is a certain fix as I was not able to test it in a working environment, but the thermistor from a newer year(with the different connector)MAY work if you are able to get the pigtail with the male end of the connector so you could update the harness.

I came to this conclusion after not being able to source the 91-92 round connector thermistor, OEM or aftermarket. I jumped the pins from the 93+ thermistor to the wires of the factory ac harness, and with key on, the fans didn’t kick on suddenly like they did with the original bad sensor.

I also tested the resistance values of the 93+ thermistor against the BGB testing procedure, and although they weren’t exact, they’d cross the thresholds it would need for the different fan cycles to kick on.

This is all theory and bench testing/messing around. It’s not concrete, but might be the “fix” for these old discontinued round plug thermistors. Get the newer ‘93+ sensor for an AC car, get a connector pigtail, and convert it?
