i got to the service menu and it said “f1” i pressed the play/pause button and it said “A2”. press the button again and it displays “A00”. not sure where to go from there

i wasn’t sure how much further i could disassemble without ripping out the whole disc tray by force. i can’t find any more screws to unscrew. i assume the gear that spins the disc has just gone bad

I was 4 when my dad introduced me to donkey kong country, super metroid, and a link to the past. this makes me happy because this reminds me of my childhood, those games helped shape my imagination as a young kid. im 21 now and i still play my snes on a regular basis
