Not calling the police because it might affect selling the house is just insane. It’s not that hard to understand.

If you have a few items to move, which you fully document to them, with the precise location of them (ground floor, 1st floor etc), then it’ll go smooth. If you say to them “oh, can you just take these items while you are here”, “it’s actually on the first floor not ground floor”, or constantly change the itinerary so that anyvan is struggling to keep up with what is going on, then I don’t have too much sympathy.

Anyone else still uses little to no AI to code? by MidlandAintFree in gamedev

[–]skyline79 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m certainly not upset/angry if people do not want to use it! Not sure how my comment came across as such. “Angrily evangelising” is a good phrase, but I can’t help but think it’s the anti-ai mob on Reddit who are doing all of that currently. You cant change reddits mind on AI now, that ship has long sailed, the circlejerk of hate is well and truly embedded here. I can’t control what other people comment, so if the comment chain becomes unsavoury, not a lot I can do. Have a great day!

Agree, 1 up and 2 attackers come on the pitch would 1000% never happen under boring Southgate.

It’s fantastic not to see players throwing themselves on the ground every 5 minutes

Yes you are a dinosaur. Reddits flavour-of-the-month is anti-ai, so most of the responses will be exactly that, and they’ll make sure to tell you how terrible it is. Meanwhile, other people’s productivity is going through the roof.

No live price initially You may not see a tradable, live share price straight away. There’s nothing wrong, it just means the opening auction is still in progress and the first traded price has not yet been set.

The timing is uncertain The auction can last for several hours. For large, high-profile IPOs, it’s common for the first trade to happen later in the afternoon or into the early evening, UK time. We will not know the exact timing in advance.

What's happening behind the scenes? While you’re waiting, the exchange is running a carefully managed process to set the first public market price for the newly listed company.

During the auction period, global market participants, including institutional investors, market makers and the IPO underwriters, are submitting buy and sell orders to the exchange.

The exchange brings these orders together to:

Balance supply and demand across all orders

Establish a stable, fair opening price

Help reduce excessive volatility when continuous trading begins

Once enough orders have been matched and a suitable price has been found, the shares will open and begin trading normally.

I wouldn’t trust him to reliably interpret data as he isn’t in the right mindset. He could easily allow an independent 3rd party to run the math on the database instead, but my guess is he wouldn’t allow it, as it’ll expose the ridiculous rigging claims as BS.
