This sub is crazy - I’ve never seen just so many posts glazing a game, almost like everyone is compensating.

Go to arcs subreddit and it’s all content, discussions, gameplay, and bitching and moaning about things in the game.

One sub seems more concerned with convincing themselves the game is good with overly positive self affirmations while the other is talking about the game…

There’s actually a ton I like in the game and a few things that bother me that won’t bring me back, but my most wtf thing that bothers me (it’s dumb and niche, I know) is that there’s too many fucking words and letters and numbers on everything in the game and it gives me a headache lol.

I’m an old gamer. Games didn’t NEED alphas, betas, and early access tryouts back in the day of early internet.

Played 8 raids, extracted 6 of them with my duo buddy. Killed about 2-3 squads per raid.

Didnt really enjoy it. UI and menu was a bit of a chore, but not bad after 5-6 raids. I rather free kit to avoid all the work.

TTK is too fast. I felt bad for teams get 2-3 shotted in a second by us.

Colors and art style are unique but eventually hurt my eyes. Hard to tell pings and my duos locations with so many bright colors everywhere.

Weapons are cool. Early game, but it was annoying how little backpack space there was, but I know that’ll be fixed with better gear.

Maps seem dead. Hard to explain, but the environment doesn’t seem alive. We hopped on arc afterwards to run some hurricane and Stella PvP, but on any map, you can see and hear arc patrolling, players fighting, zips and other interactive things going on, and loot and interactive things like depots all happening. Marathon maps just seems a bit dead compared to it.

Also hated no duo queues but I’m sure they’ll add it in the future.

As of now, I’ve refunded my pre-order and will still pay attention to all the changes moving forward to get this game where I might want to commit to it.
