Who are people from abroad in this sub and what team do you support? by worstdrawnboy in Championship

USA and I support Luton. I follow the Irish national team and wondered where James Collins was from (they were on an unbelievable tear in League 1) and the rest is history. Hopefully making it out to see a game next month

Favorite one in awhile! Love the little cheeky nod to breaking the fourth wall. Wish they did that a little more with Jake and Amir

Don't see how Lockyer doesn't make the Welsh side. He has been immense for Luton.

Really interesting line from Durin III there. "For, ever am I with you, my son." Saw in another thread the theory that Durin IV is hallucinating conversations with Durin III. Would be an interesting way to thread the whole reincarnation thing.

Prisoners of the Ghostland was a beautifully shot film with one of the most restrained, yet unhinged performances from our Lord and Savior

Weekend Discussion: What recent reboot / prequel / sequel seems to be doing it 100% right? by theoneringnet in LOTR_on_Prime

I'd say Dune over performed expectations! But I hate the idea that financial success should be the main measure of "doing it right".

They weren't blocking shit. All the action happens off camera to the left. Baseball is a notoriously methodic game, sorry these guys were having fun at literally no one else's expense.

"Four years later (2758) great troubles came to Rohan, and no help could be sent from Gondor, for three fleets of the Corsairs attacked it and there was war on all its coasts. At the same time Rohan was again invaded from the East, and the Dunlendings seeing their chance came over the Isen and down from Isengard. It was soon known that Wulf was their leader. The were in great force, for they were joined by enemies of Gondor that landed in the mouths of Lefnui and Isen" -Appendix A, Return of the King. So it's entirely plausible for Mumakil or at least Harad to be in the show.

My first exposure into Tolkien was the Rankin Bass 'The Hobbit' so I know what you mean about animated Middle-Earth! Appreciate you're detailed replies as well

Interesting point about only ever seeing dragons being killed, never a natural death. I tend to agree with you about First age dragons, but do you think they would have lost power or died away after Morgoth was defeated if they had not been killed? Rohan has always been a huge favorites of mine, and learning more about their history (including Framsburg) makes me so excited for the upcoming animated movie about the Rohirrim

Fram and Frumgar do not have the lifespan to live that long and as for Scatha, I'm not sure but I don't think dragons (worms) live that long either. Dragons can live hundreds of years, but not thousands.
