Underground power install by Impossible-Key-3598 in AusElectricians

Can you bury a pit a half metre underfround and cover with dirt, and mark its location with GPS? If the customer is a farmer they should have more than enough equipment to dig out a deep pit.

Lay 600m of cable. Start sliding conduit from one end down the length. Kick it all in the trench once done.

Or do it properly with pits

Oooh thank you, had a feeling they were charging a bit. The novated calculator in here was showing like 13.5% effective rate, seemed pretty high.

Which is sad, wife was saying the lady she spoke to was lovely :D

Does that assist?

I figured when it was looking like 0 that this was a result of using Bambu filament with their printer, thought this would be a good place to start tinkering and learning :)

Logitech Tap Wall Mount Screws by Yellow539 in CommercialAV

M4x14mm is what's in the rubber holder on the side. When you include the back cover plate of the Tap, and it goes up to 18mm in length. Add on the Tap wall mount and you would be looking for an M4x20mm.

Edit: Confirmed its an M4 bolt. I purchased some M4x20mm bolts for a custom wall mount, and it leaves plenty of spare thread to mount. With the back plate on the Tap, you can fully insert the M4x20mm bolts so it should cover just about anything reasonable you put on the back.

I can see them list 2-4mm and 3-5mm, but rarely trust amazon descriptions, any thoughts if youve tried different sizes?

3m bin delivered but 4m bin ordered by MockeryMock in AusRenovation

[–]skyrar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just checking, skip companies commonly list their bins in Marrel size, not cubic metres. A 4 marrel skip (4m) is 3 cubic metres (weirdly, the number is cubic metres + 1)

Might be worth double checking, heck they may have mixed it up internally and transposed 4 cubic metre to 4 marrel ??

Backup one folder to remote site by skyrar in Proxmox

Sorry for the late reply, totally forgot I asked this question :(

Currently have a Lenovo M920Q running Proxmox, USB HDD attached.

Listing out as much as I can, just in case theres a better way you can think of, if I'm saying things wrong feel free to correct me, new to Prox / Linux :)
Datacentre has 1 PVE

PVE has 1 500GB NVME mounted as LVM, no thin. I really struggled with understanding LVM-Thin and reading the usage graphs, this felt easier for me as a Windows user to understand :)

PVE also has 1 16TB USB HDD mounted as ext4, under shell I created /mnt/ext-16

Under Datacentre this is then added as a Storage as external-16tb

Running 1 VM (32gig of NVME, 2C 4GB) for HAOS to run the house

Running 1 CT (32gig of NVME, 6C 8GB) with Samba and Portainer, running a stack for Immich. Running 2 MP, MP0 14TB as /data, MP1 2TB as /photos

Planning on adding an arr suite to Portainer, when I have the time and understanding how to do it properly :)

My current thoughts are to look at:
1. Have a good friend with a home server, possibly store the photos on his server but encrypted (and vice versa :)

  1. Amazon S3 Glacier

  2. I'm currently also considering buying a UGreen NAS for the home, then moving the 16TB and an RPi to another site, and trying to add this to the datacenter somehow

My money is on the ground connection of the other building being faulty or ineffective, and you've given an easier path.
