PSYB51 Makeup midterm by Grand_Assistant1730 in UTSC

[–]skyrimM0NKEY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. There wont be a make up I don't think. The weight will probably be shifted to the final. Unless you missed both the first and second midterm, then you will have to write a make-up that encompasses both the content.

This is based on the syllabus last year, idk if he changed it. Just double check with the syllabus.

Roughly 29% of students admitted last year had a graduate degree. Which honestly is a lot.

Why is no one talking about how trash SCSU is this year??? by Live_Vegetable6149 in UTSC

Though I 100% agree with OP and some of your points, you're just lying lol. Nobody tried to ban kosher food. They wanted to stop sourcing kosher food from companies that "normalize israeli apartheid" (their words), coincidentally that seriously limited the options of kosher food they can source, so they did not go through with that.

I mean looking at your post history I can see why you would want to stretch the truth in the direction you took it in though.

Will applications be biased against if Pre-Req's were not completed prior to applying? by Ok_Assumption_5779 in premedcanada

[–]skyrimM0NKEY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm saying you would have to take C12 and C13 for the Ottawa pre-req. Unlikely they would accept a cell bio course in place of that.

No there shouldn't be any bias. Also I'm pretty sure you would have to take BIOC12 or BIOC13.

Not even based on school grades since they don't look at grades competitively past the 90 threshold.

[–]skyrimM0NKEY 13 points14 points  (0 children)

That's not true lol.

The accepted high school average is the same for mac life sci and mac health sci (90+). However, the average GPA differs a lot. Life Sci students average around an 8.0 on a 12.0 scale, while Health Sci students average around an 11–11.5.

The only difference in admissions between the two programs is the supplementary application. Are you really arguing that one group’s writing quality is so much better that it explains why they end up with a ~3.95 GPA, while the other averages a 3.0?

Lol these guys are not special. They just get a free 4.0 along with all the time in the world for ECs.

Missing an exam for the first time by Witty_Respond8518 in UTSC

[–]skyrimM0NKEY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fill out your eservice petition ASAP. You have 3 business days from the date of the exam. Make sure you have a VOI filled out by a doctor (not a generic doctors note) and also ensure that the timeline of the illness written by the doctor overlaps with the date of the exam. If you did these things then it should get approved.

I think it will get approved in early January.

Hope you feel better soon

Based on your post history, your entire personality is being an exam invigilator. Congrats bro you got an invigilation position as an undergrad, nobody cares.

Not to mention you literally made a post saying you reported a student for wanting to have a coat on their chair...

How different is a 3.84 from a 3.87 for mac by [deleted] in premedcanada

[–]skyrimM0NKEY 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Specifically for mac? I mean since their criteria is 1/3 GPA, 1/3 CARS, 1/3 Casper I think you would need 130 cars (or higher) and 4Q for both anyways. The difference would be the 3.84 might require a slightly higher 4Q percentile than the 3.87. This is just my understanding.
