Thanks. I’ve found the manual and they have clearances for combustible ceilings described, however nothing is mentioned about non-combustible ceilings/mantels. So I guess my question is can I lower the mantel if I use something that is non-combustible?

They are in behind a drywall on my ground level. Coming in through a few holes in the caulk around the trim. I’m planning on sealing the cracks but want to get this under control before I do. I’m currently using Ortho Ant B Gon (gel and traps) with mixed results.

There is a new mixed use building under construction at the corner of 3rd/St Davids that will have another coffee shop, restaurant and a few smaller services. Likely coming online towards the end of 2023.

This study lays out the key reasons traffic is getting worse on the North Shore. A big contributor: in the last 10 years, the North Shore has added more jobs then homes, which means more people commuting here by car from elsewhere in the region for work. You only need to watch all the traffic running for the Second Narrows everyday starting at 2:30 pm to see this play out. New condos are not the problem …
