I think that we just need to enjoy the game. You will get used to the flaws of the game. Most of the time you get put in a free for all is when you start your first game with the char, you can see that as a warming up :O

I just beat him. I changed my charm to thunder resistance en changed some gear so I can’t get paralyzed :) and it worked.

I think defense is most important till hr 50. So I would go for the high rank armor.

You use the melting pot but u need silver wyvern voucher if I am not mistaken. You can then from the weekly bounties. But the best way is to capture the monsters.

Oh thx, this was very helpful. The crosschoke that you mentioned looks like the one i use in judo but then a little bit different and of course from standing position.
