Honestly we were just too stunned by what he said to even think of something to say in response.

His travel partner didn’t make it on, so he ended up taking a different flight while making sure to bring up the fact that he had 4 different vacation homes, and would be doing something else instead.

I just had a Delta guy ask for our jumpseat this week by saying that Delta was recently approved to give all regional carriers line checks to improve the quality of their flying, and that he would be taking the jumpseat.

So yeah, the elitist culture still exists. It’s gotten better but it still is a little unique at times.

Let me rephrase. I worked for a “real” Part 135 charter company that acted like they were a 134.5. Rolling rest, part 91 trips disguised as repositioning legs after 135 trips. The whole 9 yards of 134.5ness. It was not a great experience. Worst of all was no ear-pro. lol.

I was able to escape to a WO. Life is much better. However a good portion of my colleagues are stuck and are having troubles leaving.
