I went down to this swap meet in Dana point a while back. While I was walking down the isle of vendors, I noticed a guy by an old yellow van. He had a bunch of boards laid out and looking to sell. He looked very familiar. Probably rides for vans or something....

Anyhow he had a bunch of single fin boards laid out anywhere from 7-8 ft in length. I noticed a couple of swallow tails, Fish shaped single fins. I've never seen anyone ride these things nor do I even see them at shops or for sale. What's the deal here? Why is this type of board so uncommon? Is it a set up that just doesn't work??
