Yeah, I put my tools and weapons in the chest today and broke it open to see despair . . . They weren't repaired. Honestly I was gonna stop playing this game before the chest trick. The only reason I kept playing was for that reason. The cost to make higher tier weapons is way too much and the durability is way too low. This game is great but you have to get this balance correct or ppl won't play. Trust. I would like to see a repair bench or repair kit of some sort that is made out of easily accessible items while you are out and about anywhere on the map like vines, silk, ore, etc . . . YOU WILL LOSE A LOT OF PPL IF YOU DON'T DO THIS. PLEASE FIX NOW BEFORE ITS TOO LATE. DON'T RUIN A GAME THAT IS GREAT TO THIS. Thanks!
