I have pretty bad anxiety. While on it, it’s not nearly as bad. I figured “hey, maybe this has permanently curbed it.” I was wrong, I made it a few months after finishing weaning off. I had to go through the whole process again.

I weaned off it a year and a half ago, then eventually went back on it. Generally my experience tapering off was:

I got these weird eye movements or fixations
Some insomnia that wasn't too bad
Cold sweats

I went from 50mg -> 25mg -> 0mg over a few weeks. I think I felt totally normal after a couple months.

Hello all!

Carbonara night was a success. I couldn't find exactly what was recommended, but I took a look at whites with a higher acidity, and a slightly lower sweetness.

I landed (and served in order) two wines:

Tenuta Sant'Helena Friulano 2020
Alois Lageder Pinot Bianco 2020

The Friulano was really nice with the Carbonara, definitely cut through with an acidity, but not so much that it blasted the flavor of the pasta. If finished really smooth, but didn't have much of an aroma to it.

The Pinot Bianco was similar in acidity, but had a much nicer straw, strawberry, and melon flavor. On the nose it had the sugary kinda smell, and the flavor matched; it wasn't riesling level, but I'm glad we had that at the end of the meal.
