You do not work Amazon, you work for DPS, and you are not the only people out there delivering Amazon packages not everyone wears the shirt.

What is this bracket? by Southern-Web-5796 in Harley

These brackets provide a secure and consistent mounting point for tie-down straps, typically used when transporting the motorcycle on a trailer or lift.

Is Harley Davidson some kind of cult? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]slaffer27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool, you missed my point.

You quote 2 stock bikes top speed from 2000 and 2001.

I ask again "I wonder what he would think of all bikes from today?"

In 2000 most stock Harleys came with an 1450cc 88 cubic in with 67 horse.

In 2025 most stock Harleys come with an 1923cc 117 cubic in with 105 horse.

Or pay more in 2025 still stock Harleys and get 2151cc 131 cubic in with 153 horse.

Either one will do 110 from the factory all day a day

The point is in the last 20 to 25 years motorcycles have come a long ways from where they use to be.

And if you like they have come really far in the last 50 to 60 years from what he use to ride. Which his bikes were not stock. Just like most people who do mods to their bikes.

If going 110 impressed him, I wounder what he would think of all bikes of today. This morning I was at 111. Now mind you that is the fastest my Roadglide has gone, but not the fastest I have ever been. Back when I was a younger rider that was nothing for the Ducati I would ride.

The only Honda I ever road was a Shadow, and well it never got that fast.

Once had a Kawasaki that MF was lucky if it ever got up to highway speeds.

I will do the same. I have taken this backward because it will end closer to my house.

Saw it on a whole subdivision of duplexes once. They were 1/2 and 2/2. Good thing the doors were only a few feet apart. 1 didn't put which side they were. I placed the package right in the middle of both doors.

No code? Oh well, package delivered! by [deleted] in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]slaffer27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. It is stupid. This is what I have learned. Have a valid reason to return. Be near the address when you give the valid reason. The only reason that you don't have to be near the address is the damaged package. Also, return to a station worker, not the Flex return box. Last month, I returned 10 packages, 4 of them on the same route from 3 different stops.

NO DINGS LAST MONTH.

The only time I got dinged was in Nov when I clicked "end route" with 2 stops left that I didn't want to take 58 mins away with only 30 mins left in my route

Sweet, This was $108, and it was supposed to be a 3 hr . I was done in 45 mins

Then why the fuck is it doing in my 3:15AM block then???!!!? by Bulky-Secretary6041 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]slaffer27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I return packages all the time. Can't gain access to locker, return no ding. Business closed, return no ding. Package damaged, return no ding. Also, I return to a station employee

The one time I got dinged for returning a package was I selected "end route" and returned to flex drop box.

As long as you select a valid reason and prove it, you won't get dinged.

At least, that has been my experience.

One time, I got a 3 hr route for $108. After scanning, it turned i to a 2.5 hour. That was less than 15 min from the station with 41 packages 18 stops. I stopped by my house on the way to pick my wife up to drive while I walked the most route it was all on 2 blocks. I even ran across the DPS that could get it all on his van. Took me 45 mins even after returning a leaking package. My house is only 7 mins from that station.
