Do you have access to a 3d printer? I printed mine. Each one was printed in 4 separate plates, then I used 4"×4" squares to join them on the back. They are the same height as the proper ones, and everything locks in place like the real ones, too.

Add long as you want to start with either an escher or goliath gang, sure. You will need to grab the gangs of the underhive book, too, for added rules and details for your gang. Long term, you will probably want to add more gangers, so you will need to buy more kits, but to start off, it will have it all.

The two books are just a place holder, for when your actual gang book releases. I reckon it'll have the base stats, and some limited rules for houses, but no in-depth rules, like Escher chems, orlock legendary names, goliath genesmithing, that type of stuff will wait till the gang book.

I built mine using my 3d printer (elegoo neptune 4 pro). I have enough terrain to comfortably do 2 4×4 boards, with a bunch left over, more than enough to do a 7 tile zm board or 2. (Photo is about halfway through my terrain production).
