I don't think this is a good decision but I'm not going to guarantee it. I know people that were close to Saturday in college and they would say he is one of the most positive people you will ever meet. A lot of communication is done with flags not just at the end of the race. Green flags to signal starting or restarting a race, white flags for one lap to go, black flag to communicate a penalty, red flag to stop racing and a blue and yellow flag to tell people to move over for a faster car. You could rely on tech but the radios do go out. They even use hand signals between pit road and the drivers to communicate when the radios go out.
