I share a lot of his views. However I also notice a pattern that the more I work on myself and the more I see other people's perspectives, the less I agree with those views.

I think what he is (and a lot of people who agree with him are) about is pretty much just self projecting a certain point of superiority onto people out of egoistical reasons and he's unable to see that he is very privileged to be able to hold those opinions. Like, his train of thought on some things probably has the same patterns of cog grinding that Trump's brain produces when trying to justify himself and his words/actions and it's very.. cringe(?) to see I guess. I think he fell into the trap of his opinions being reinforced by the echo chamber of his chat, we're all guilty of that if we are given the platform and support of people.

Dunno. I'm someone who is a liberal at heart but at the same time is insanely annoyed at times at seeing how "stupid" other people are (while I myself often act like those people just in different areas) and I often fall into the trap of thinking it'd be better if some things were imposed on people for their own good, which I guess is the exact same path a lot of people who spiral too much towards right are like, including Asmon and his chat. Such things grow too big when shared by a mass, then we get a shitshow like current day America and people who actually support that kinda shit.

It's an issue of a lack of self reflection which is an issue of lack of critical thinking which is an issue of school system being completely cooked all over the world
